Cae is good at what she does, shes just not a nice person, not an honest person and doesn’t back up her products or her work. If it works well: good for you, you have a great head of extensions. If it doesn’t, well you’re out of luck my friend. WHATEVERYOUDO: ASKFOR A BILLANDBRING A CALCULATOR! Case in point. I flew in from Canada to get hair extensions. My hair was very short and needed a lot of hair. During my consultation, Cae discussed the pros and cons of GL(Great Lengths) versus another product she often used«909 extensions». Because 909 offered more strands per package, and the strands were larger than Great Lengths, we agreed to use 4 packages of 909 with 38 strands in each, plus some tape in around the base of my hairline(I don’t know how many, all I know is I was charged $ 245. Given I have had friends who have had their entire heads done with tape for $ 400 I thought it was steep). Keep in mind, I’ve paid for a flight, accommodations and having to convert from Canadian to American. The hair didn’t match. I had flown back to Canada and emailed her. She told me she would give me 40 strands the next time for free as I had to go to a salon to get highlights on my hair so it would match the color she used. She charged me $ 2,145 for the hair and install. It was agreed I would pay $ 8/strand. 38 X 4 x $ 8.00 = $ 1216. Add another $ 245 for tape ins: $ 1461 then I tipped her $ 175.00 total: $ 1636. Big discrepancy! $ 509 to be exact. Second install three months later: again, 4 pks of 38 strands x $ 8 = 1216. She charged me $ 9/strand at $ 1368, gave her $ 1500CASH. Discrepancy of $ 152.00 I never received a bill on either install btw. Nor did I question the amount or check it myself! Complete trust. My bad. HOWEVER, I went home and started thinking about the difference in costs between the 2 installs and realized there was an «over-site» to be polite… she has sent me an email«Severing the relationship» and to date, no refund. Oh, and did I mention that the second install was a complete disaster and it is 100% my fault? She assumes no responsibility for the fact that I purchased hair I had NOEXPERIENCE with, THROUGHHER, that for which she did have experience and had used, and when the hair became a matted dull mess after essentially the second shampoo, she wouldn’t come to an agreement to solve the problem without it costing me another $ 1000. I asked her to repay me the $ 661.00 in over charges(no-brainer) and replace the hair at a cost to her of approximately $ 350 in leiu of the 2nd install being a disaster. I suggested I would get someone here to install as I $ 661 owed to me in overcharge and have a person that charges $ 50/hr to install. But for some reason, she found this completely unacceptable. So in 3 months, she had a client drop $ 3,645 over 2 visits, and refused to fork out $ 350 plus what she essentially stole from me in over charges. She would rather lose the client. Not the smartest person I’ve ever met. How is this even possible you ask? She referred to her mistreatment as I clearly didn’t trust her and good luck with finding someone closer to home. WOW. To sum it up: Shes a thief. PS :and a liar: I asked for curly hair for the first install and it was straight. When I asked her if it was the curly hair, she told me she flat ironed it before installing it. TOTALBS. I saw her take it out of a package. Unfortunately, the install had begun so I really couldn’t do much at that point.
