Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada – Henderson

I was referred to Dr Parikh and have only seen him once so far but I was very impressed with the doctor and the facility.
One thing that annoys me is going into doctors’ offices and seeing signs like «don’t touch the tv» «turn off your cell phone» or «your copay must be paid before you will be seen.» Several offices I’ve visited lately had signs like that tattered and hanging crooked on their walls. This office has signs framed and posted saying if you haven’t been called to see the doctor within 15 minutes of check in please let the receptionist know! I was so blown away I forgot to take a picture but I’ll get one next time. This place simply does not leave patients waiting hours to see a doctor which makes them tops in my book.
The receptionist was fast friendly and professional.
The nurse who set me up in the room took vitals quickly and pleasantly as well and then the doctor knocked on the door seconds after she left.
The doctor took time to get to know me. He asked relevant questions and asked several times if I had questions. The doctor has a natural charm about him that put me at ease right away. He comes across as very intelligent but also completely genuine. He strikes me as someone who is sincerely following his calling in life and caring for patients in a responsible ethical manner.
Lab on site to draw blood which is really nice and saves patients from having to make another stop. The lady who drew blood was as professional and polite as everyone else.
The last step is scheduling the next appointment. There are three scheduling desks but only two people were present. I think the other was probably taking a lunch. Even with that my wait at scheduling was just a couple minutes.
In the exam room and at the scheduling desks there are signs on the walls offering events like free make overs for cancer patients. I love that this doctor understands that a woman feels better when she looks better. Things like that show me this place is going to care for the whole patient not just their blood.
From start to finish I was impressed and felt I was in good hands.

I just have to say that I am very upset with how this company treats its patients on the back end. The treatment was fine, butof course we have large medical bills and could not pay the total amount, so for 8 months have regularly been making payments on our bill. Today I received a letter saying they were sending me to collections if I did not pay it in full, or make payment arrangements. I assumed it must have been an error. After speaking to a representative at this establishment, she confirmed that yes they showed my payments, but that it did not meet «their guidelines» meaning I was not paying enough as month. WE are only paying $ 50.00. So they would be sending me to collections. These medical situations are stressful enough without now having to be harrassed by collections because my $ 50.00 per month payment is not good enough for CCSN.

I was referred to Dr. Parikh last year by Dr. Manthei after I had a Total Thyroidectomy.
On day one Dr. Parikh let me know that we were pretty much going to be best friends for life. That was very comforting considering most doctors in this town treat you like a number or an incompetent fool. Not with Parikh! I genuinely look forward to visits with him, almost like going to see a family member. He is very compassionate and genuinely cares about his patients. He has a plan of action prepared for everything and is very prompt.
Appointments are always available when I need them and wait times are never long. The office staff and phlebotomists are all so nice! They are very helpful with any questions I have and even let me borrow their pens and don’t get mad when I accidentally keep them.

Dr. Parikh is simply the best. Without going into too much personal detail, he was our light at the end of a very dark tunnel. He and his staff were always so patient, positive, and accommodating. A situation that at one point seemed incredibly grim and confusing was broken down into individual steps by this skilled doctor and his staff that led to a much more positive road. The wait times are minimal when you have an appointment, and the doctor will never make you feel rushed or leave without answering all of your questions. He truly cares about each of his patients, and that is a rarity in this city. Switching to Dr. Parikh was probably one of the best decisions we’ve made. I have referred a friend to see him when he also was faced with a tough situation. He cannot thank me enough for referring him to a Dr. who for once not only knew what he was talking about, but was patient and compassionate enough to help get his patients through a very difficult and confusing time in their life.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Got to see the doctor about 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time (so the wait wasn’t too bad). Plus the Bugs Bunny band-​aid at the blood draw was kind of a nice touch!
