Dr. Pingol is actually an okay doctor, but her office staff(specifically Manny) is awful. I have had no issues with Dr. Pingol and I have been going to her for about 4 years off and on(whenever I had insurance her practice accepted). I never had a major problem with her office until March 2015 when they sent me to get my blood work done and told me EXACTLY where to go. The lady in billing, Tanya, told me specifically which lab to go to in order to pay for the bloodwork. I went and paid it and thought everything was done. I didn’t think I had a problem. Fast forward a few months to July and I receive a billing notice that I had an outstanding account for the bloodwork I already paid back in March. I found out that the lab claimed they never received payment and that the doctor’s office received it and never paid them. I spoke off and on with both the lab and Pingol’s office from July to September 2015(which I’m still currently in the process of fixing this mess) and I keep being told by Manny that he’s fixed it and I should be taken out of collections for the bill I already paid. I’m still in collections on a small bill that I paid back in March and whenever I attempt to speak to Tanya, the lady in billing, I’m told«I’ve been told you have to speak to Manny.» However, whenever I attempt to speak with him, he cuts me off and ignores what I say. He informs me «it’s fixed,» but it still isn’t. He told me back in July when I received the first bill that he fixed it. If this isn’t fixed, I’m filing a medical board complaint against Ellaine Pingol for unprofessional conduct and office practice issues. Family Wellness Clinic office staff represent her as a doctor. They aided the lab in fraudulent services and refuse to refund me $ 100 dollars for another test I was going to take, but decided against due to the current office practices. If anyone at Family Wellness Clinic reads this, fix your mess up and get me out of collections for a bill I paid BACKINMARCH2015.

Good doctor if you can get in to see her. Average wait time 1.5 hours. I had to change doctors due to time restraints. Staff scheduling appt. didn’t seem to care that I had to move my charts to another facility due to doctors lack of availability and on time appointments. Oh well I guess if they can charge anyone’s insurance what do we matter.

I haven’t been to the doctor since 2008. If I’m not on the brink of death, I feel like there’s no point in going because many people in my family are in the medical field and can help me out. This time, I was going for blood work for genetic testing and a physical to be on the safe side. I had my first appointment with Dr. Pingol on 12÷26÷12 at 2:15. I was seen at 2:42 which was frustrating, but I could hear her talking to a male patient in the other room(the patient had a booming voice so I could hear him through the walls) so I can let it slide. Dr. Pingol was really friendly. She went over my blood work and said everything was perfect. She asked me about my skin(which the dermatologist I saw was too busy to check out) and said she could tell I was stressed and not sleeping enough which was why my skin was out of whack. Both of those guesses were true! She told me to stay away from anything with estrogen & to eat more greens. As somebody who is leery about taking so much as an aspirin, I appreciated that she wasn’t suggesting pharmaceuticals but real food, sleep & relaxation. I had a pap while I was there and I liked she wasn’t like other ob/gyn doctors who want to talk about boyfriends and sex lives in a gossipy way like they’re your friend while they work on you. I liked that she didn’t ask me if I wanted bc and I didn’t need to explain that I was single because she was strictly about the procedure. My appointment was nearly an hour and I liked that she took the time to listen to my concerns and explain my(completely perfect) test results. I’d definitely see her again.
