We came here on a Friday night pretty late after my son’s speech and debate competition at a high school near by. We went to the sports bar next door for dinner. We left to go home and the smell of donuts in the parking lot was amazing!!! We had to go. Very good donuts. We will come here now for these donuts even though it’s 30 minutes away from home.

Best donuts I’ve had and I’ve had a lot of donuts lol they desperately need to invest in a square or something because it’s a cash only establishment even in this day and age … You’ll have to go early though because they sell out quick and it’s always up to chance what they have left! Definitely worth a trip though !

A Gem in the Rough! What a find! Was killing time while my son was at soccer and stumbled across this place. Now, it is by far, our go to place for donuts. Always fresh, always delicious. They melt in your mouth and the price is right. Got lucky tonight and got some fresh out of the oven. To die for!

It has now become almost a tradition that on the first morning of our visit to Las Vegas that I stop and pick-up an apple fritter at this donut shop. As usual, it was fresh, mammoth sized, inexpensive, delicious, oil free and healthy. Okay, maybe not real healthy though there were apples in it and we did not require medical attention on this trip.

Well, it’s a drive for us however having a errand on Old Downtown Henderson this stop makes gr8 sense! They open @ 4 am & close @ 10 pm… we were there 9:30 am and they were almost sold out! Only 4 varieties to choose from which o thought was odd given they were gonna be open for many, many hours till 10 pm. Anyway ordered a cake donut with white frosting & nuts. Quite good REALLY fresh cake with a nice crunchiness on the edges. They are known for their glazed but you must need to get there REALLY early for those!

I’m particularly old school when it comes to donuts. Though I have been known to enjoy my fair share of gourmet doughnuts, I find myself always wanting a more solid relationship with my fried dough– those gourmet doughnuts are a trend, all dressed up in pretty cereals, sauces and flavor mashups. They may disappear just as quickly as they arrived on the scene. But Friendlys? Given that they have been around for what seems like forever, I know will never leave me. They don’t need all the fancy toppings to impress. They know that there are people that love them just the way they are. Too many people for my liking, as they’re always being snatched up by 8am. Those old timers sitting there at their same table in the mornings when I walk in? I know they’ve already known the secret for many years. Stick with the old fashioned. The original. The cake, the simple but oh so perfect glazed. The chocolate with sprinkles. The donut holes. Oh yes.

FDH is a local treasure, I highly recommend their Old Fashion, Buttermilk Bars and Apple Fritters. I’m sure all their other selections are delicious too but I can’t stray away from my top three favorites. Oh, and their prices are better than the national lame chain donut shops.

Always a good time for a doughnut. The service is great the people are great. The best thing about it is its right down the street and it’s a local business as well. Definitely have to show some love and support for the locally owned and operated businesses for the little known locals.

We found this place on Unilocal and drove about 45 minutes to here. My favorite donut(and the only one I order) is the pink sprinkled. They didn’t have any and I asked if she could sprinkle a plain one, but that didn’t happen. So for the first time I ordered a new donut, the crumb donut. It was awesome! I also got a plain pink one. Customer Service was as expected & donuts were great

Depending on the day, I’ll call them Angry Donuts, Annoyed Donuts, or simply Rude Donuts. That being said, these not-so-happy people can make some $&@#-ing delicious donuts.

Once you try Friendly’s glazed donut, you will never go back to Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts. I am here at 5:45PM, and even though it’s not hot, the donut is as soft as if it was just cooked. The amount of glaze is sufficient for sweetness – not too much, not too little. The size is right, too; satisfaction to the dot. I also tried the gigantic Apple fritter.(I only ate half). For my taste buds it is too sweet. Overall, Friendly’s is definitely a place I will come back to no matter for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Old school all the way. Maple bacon donuts, lemon infused fritters, and candy coated crullers are good, don’t get wrong, but sometimes you just need a classic glazed fried treat. Friendly Donut House has this times ten! I came here on Saturday around eleven-in-the-morning, which was a mistake because most of the counter was cleaned out. Definitely get here in the early morning hours or later afternoon, that’s when the counter is fully stocked and ready for snacking according to the donut guy. I started loading up my pink donut box with the classics; Apple Fritters, Old Fashions, Glazed Chocolate Sprinkles, Coconut Covered Donuts, Cinnamon Crumbs, and Cherry frosted donuts. As I was ordering fresh batches of donuts were slowly coming out, including a tray filled with old-fashioned buttermilk donut bars. These all looked amazing and are not for the person looking for low calories treats. The Highlights: — The Apple Fritter was huge and had that great shiny glaze on top. It was super soft, doughy, and not sweet on the inside. This could be easily shared with two people. It could have used more apples on the inside, buts that my opinion. — The Buttermilk Bars were fantastic. Both the maple covered and classic flavor were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on this inside. — Cinnamon Crumb Cake. These were coming out right as I was about to pay and I had to add them to my dozen. Warm, sweet and amazing. A definite must try when visiting the Friendly Donut House. I also had to buy to two cartons of Anderson Dairy milk to keep the nostalgia train rolling. If you’re from Vegas or have been here for a long period of time, you’re very familiar with Anderson Dairy. Cold milk and fresh donuts on a Saturday morning, what else could you possibly need?

My co-worker brought in a box of donuts this morning. I tried my best to stay away, as I certainly do NOT need the calories. I couldn’t, and am glad that I could not resist after all. I chose the cake donut with vanilla icing and sprinkles. I have worked at donut shops in my younger days, and I have to say that this was the best cake donut that I have ever tasted. Fresh and flavorful. Everyone at work was so excited to see the pink pastry box full of donuts. They talked about how it was just like what you see in the movies. There is definitely something wonderful about those boxes.

Who doesn’t love donuts? My boyfriend says«all donuts are the same», but I totally disagree. Sure, all donuts might fill that fried dough sugar rush we all crave from time to time, but a hole in the wall, mom & pop place such as this, will blow Krispy Kreme out of the competition any day of the week! Plus, who else makes cream filled maple bars!?! Finally, I was there early enough to have a selection of the specialties! The stuffed bars(both maple and chocolate), the huge apple fritters, stuffed bear claws, and many more. I was nervous because they were slammed busy, and I needed 3 dozen. No problem at all! They got me in and out of there like they were use to orders such as that. Every time I have ever been here I notice it is busy. Day time, night time, whenever! Usually they have a large selection, but I have seen the occasional empty shelves as well. I suggest, if you have a favorite at Friendly’s, you get here early. And if you come on a weekend morning, just expect a line. A line that will move fast and be well worth it.

This gem is located in the Smith’s shopping center on Boulder Highway. It is family run and the donuts are always fresh. Please make sure you bring enough cash, because that is all they take. They have traditional donuts, specialities, and gigantic pastries including bear claws, fritters, and buns. They also carry an array of beverages to wash down your guilty pleasure. I won’t tell if, somehow, they all don’t make it to your office the next time you stop in for a treat for your employees. :)

Holy cow! A coworker brought these in and they were sooo good! Delightfully doughy with a perfect amount of glaze. I am not a donut lover but these have me converted! Just went this morning for myself and wow! Had a few old timers shootin da shizz. The place doesn’t look like much but don’t let it fool you. Such good stuff coming from this friendly donut shop.

ITIS A BLESSING: that this place opens at 4am. Especially when I am in the middle of writing a review of how great their donuts are and start craving them. Three times now this review has ended up in my draft pile because I start craving for donuts and the greek yogurt with flax and quinoa crunch aint cuttin it. So 4:47am donut run it is! And since there are already some good testimonies of how good they are, the price is right etc… I’ll just do a quick write up on how to eat their gigantic Apple Fritters. Step 1: Tear off a bit of the crunchy loose bits first. Yeah the ones with the brown sugar cinnamon glaze over it. Perfectly sweetened and nice crunch! Step 2: Tear off a piece of the deep fried goodness that has cinnamon swirled and apple bits in every piece. This part is nice, moist. The pale yellow dough is real tasty and buttery. Evidenced by the grease spots that seep thru the donut box. The best batter of fried donuts in town. Period. Repeat these steps till there are no bits of apple fritter left. Took me the whole day. That sucker is that huge. ITIS A BLESSING: that this place closes at 10pm… much later than the other donut shops. They are making a fresh batch of donuts constantly. Warm glazed donuts at 8pm on a visit here. Score! Pick up dessert after having some dinner at Johnny Macs. ITIS A BLESSING: Smiths grocery store is open 24⁄7 so you can get some cash because Friendly Donuts(as I remember they were/are called years ago) or Friendly Donut House still does NOT take cards. oh and it’s also a blessing that there’s a gym nearby open 24⁄7 so I can drop by and work off that donut(s) when cheat day is here or so I dont feel as guilty about my addiction to their apple fritters. Okay time for that donut run before the 6am’ers clean out the first batch of glaze donuts!

Still cash only and still some of the best donuts in town. I don’t venture to Henderson too often, but when I’m in the area for one reason or another, I always make it a point to stop by Friendly’s. Love the crullers. Pretty much everything is solid here, but I never can seem to pass up a good cruller. The cake donuts and apple fritters are some of my favorites as well.

If you want a legit donut then come here to Friendly Donut House! Even if you don’t live in the Henderson area, this local run mom & pop business is worth the drive. After hearing so much about it from Unilocalers and co-workers, I met hubby here for a quick breakfast before work and wasn’t disappointed! When I walked in there were several old timers hanging out talking, playing cards and reading the paper. There was this instant family feel that was comforting and inviting. The woman behind the counter greeted us and was patient with us while we made the hard decision of which donut to try. We picked out our few donuts and when I asked if they had any milk, the woman behind the counter said they had regular and chocolate. I was so stoked to see it was«Anderson Dairy» milk! I grew up on that stuff and am addicted to the chocolate milk. Score! The smaller milks were a $ 1 each. So we ended up with a «Bear Claw», «Apple Fritter» and«Cinnamon Roll» that were $ 1.75 each. The bear claw was filled with apples and it was SO good! I never thought that I could find a place that comes close to my favorite donut shop in Placentia, Ca, but this place does! I split the donut in half with hubby and was pleasantly stuffed. Even though I was stuffed, I managed to take 2 bites of the apple fritter and couldn’t believe the apple explosion in my mouth! This was a fritter that had tons of apples in it and all the textures a fritter should have. The cinnamon roll ended up going to one of my co-workers because we just had no room left and wanted someone to enjoy it fresh. How does anybody ever decide on one donut at this place? I will have to go full on and get a dozen to take home next time! Friendly Donut House accepts CA$H ONLY!
