Geico Insurance

BEWARE, I WAS NOT. Let me first state that this review is for what happened with Geico Auto insurance, not necessarily with this office.
After about 30 years with Geico, I had an accident. I don’t carry collision which means if I’m in an accident I’d need to be NOT at fault in order for the other guys insurance company to fix my car. Otherwise I’m out of luck. Well, a fellow ran a stop sign and hit me. I immediately found an eyewitness and did a video tape statement with her where she said she saw the other guy run the stop sign and hit me. I took her phone number and turned it and the video interview over to Geico. They, in time, determined I WAS NOT at fault, All well and good. However they did absolutely NOTHING to help me recover from the other guys insurance company. As a matter of fact they made it harder!
I was called by the other motorist’s insurance company asking me for the contact for the eyewitness, telling me Geico wouldn’t share this with them. Why on earth not??? Geico told me they wouldn’t share this unless the other company brought them to court. So what good does that do me??? I’m in the right but my car is still in pieces in my driveway. So I asked my Geico rep to please share the information with them. After all my instinct is to keep out of it and let the insurance companies handle it. That’s what I pay them for or so I thought. After Geico told me they would share the eyewitness information, I had to call the other Insurance company myself and give the eyewitness contact information, they did not. I had to. After another week I called Geico and asked to speak to a supervisor (Nathan in their regional office). The guy was borderline rude and tried to make me fell like an idiot for asking him to call and see what the other insurance company determined. He reluctantly called to find out that they indeed found their driver to be at fault and would fix my car.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I won in the end but I got there NOT THANKS to Geico. I was on my own in every sense of the word. They don’t show you what happened to me in their commercials.

I guess that lizard with an English accent isn’t full of it after all!
I switched my car/​home insurance to Geico, and
15 mins literally saved me MORE than 15% with better coverage.
Jay was very professional and responded quickly to my emails.
He made the entire process of switching so easy and smooth.
I never thought changing my insurance would be this easy, ha!

Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and there to help. Went in hardly knowing what insurance was or what I was buying, and left with a total understanding of what I was covered for! I felt the agent was being really honest with me, with what I could expect from GEICO and what I really needed to protect myself. They weren’t trying to pad my rate by over insuring me like most agents would and gave me plenty of options to choose from.
I saved a TON of money buying an awesome product from true professionals who know what they are talking about.
I even get emergency road side for way less than what I was paying with AAA. Saving more money all around!
I haven’t had an agent I have trusted and have had negative experiences with every other company I’ve tried… so if you want to save money and actually KNOW what you are paying for give them a call, they are the nicest ever and will really help you out :) So glad I switched. I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Worst customer service ever. She kept getting an attitude with me when I didn’t know answers about my history 10 years ago. Get real, who can remember that far back? Gave me a quote for $ 158.00 a month and I said «WHOA!!! No thank you and hung up.» I’m only one person who has a prestine driving history. Insane waste of my time, kept trying to sell me stuff I didn’t need and wouldn’t let me say anything. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The two employees BOTH were extremely rude, acted like we were bothering them and wasting their time. We did not feel welcome there at all. A thin dark haired lady and guy with tattoos. You can’t at least stop typing and make eye contact with your customers. Not even one star

I switched over Geico from State Farm because State Farm raised my car insurance every year and I’m a good driver with no accidents. Geico had the lowest quote. So far I’m very impressed how fast I can reach an agent. I had a rat that nested ib my car causing $ 3,000 damage to my electrics in my car and Geico covered which was a surprised.

The customer service is primo & they saved us $$ along with giving us better coverage. My husband was thrilled.

Saved me over $ 250 in Homeowners Insurance and reduced my auto insurance by over $ 200 a year. Good service and timely responses.

Excellent service, friendly knowledgeable staff. They really make you feel like part of the family. When I had a claim it was processed quickly. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I moved from NY they helped switched everything over with ease.

Man BE AWARE and BE AFRAID!!! … This company raised my blood pressure … This is a minus five rating … Horrible!!! Stay away from this company! I have the worst phone call from a Geico rep. The call went like this we see that your son got his license now we need to raise your insurance. I asked the agent is it a law? the agent said no. Said it is a company Policy. I told the agent to exclude him from my policy he does not drive either cars. Very unhappy with Geico’s policy. I will never recommend and will always share my experience with all people I come in contact. Please help me in spreading the word. Please look for a qualify agent who can insure and write the correct policy needed. Geico is a numbers game not looking out for the customer. Unfortunately agent will not exclude my son … Geico and I have parted ways.
