Went to this salon today for my first time. I have already scheduled my next appointment there. Thank u Rachael! U did exceptional & looking forward to next time!!. She made me feel comfortable, very personable, very caring & she did everything like I asked. Couldn’t ask for a better first impression!

I am so happy with my experience here. Rachel did such an amazing job, was easy to talk to, and really took the time to understand what i wanted. I will absolutely be making her my stylist from now on.

Rachel was great. She is efficient and quick plus I’m a big fan of the Aveda products she uses. I liked how the appointment was structured. Get there 10 minutes before to discuss what you’d like to do. She starts with a shampoo, the cut & then the blow dry for a great price. Not only was the actual hair cut great but she is good listener and I had a fun time chatting with her. There is no hidden fees or added costs, as it states in the website is really how it is.

I just moved here from LA and was a little leery about finding a new stylist. I was highlighting and low lighting to cover grey but also achieve a «natural» look. After checking out my hair and talking, Rachel offered the option to double process, selecting a base color close to the high/​low lights I’d been doing and then adding a few highlights on top. I had always worried that a «base color» wouldn’t have the dimension and depth that I was seeking — but I was wrong! My color is better than ever, looks so natural and the cut was great too! Rachel is very talented and listens to what you’re trying to achieve with color and then provides the best options to achieve it. I lucked out finding a hairstylist on my first try here in Vegas!

I found this salon on Unilocal after going through much difficulty finding any info from other salons in the area. I don’t understand how salons these days could have no websites. I want to know what I’m walking into and a phone call just doesn’t cut it anymore. I am vacationing in the area and needed a hair cut and since this is a Aveda salon I knew that it would be reputable. I had a great cut from Rachael and will return in the future when I’m back in the area. The price was great and the whole process was efficient and friendly.

I’ve been going to this salon for almost 8 years. Not only are the prices fair but the quality of work is why I keep going back. Rachael is professional, upfront and honest. Her focus is on you at all times. Anytime I’ve wanted to try a new way to style my hair she is always up for it. She has never said it would be too much work or shied away from learning something new. And when I’ve asked for a drastic cut change she had always advised me well. The products are exemplary and my hair shows it. I’ve posted a picture so you can see the way my hair has natural highlights. My hair has NO low or highlights and would be nearly 75% grey without coloring.
I’d highly recommend this salon.

Had an appointment to touch up my partial highlights (had it done at this salon once before with positive results). Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the results and service this time. Because I arrived 10 minutes late to my appointment, I was told that there would not be enough time to blow dry it (is included with the service); However, the stylist didn’t dry any strands of my hair to check the color, so when I arrived home after I styled myself, I noticed that the highlights turned out uneven and I still had some noticeable gray.

This was the best experience I have ever had in a hair salon… You really do have the owner, Rachael, all to yourself for your entire appointment. She is extremely knowledgeable and talented. I usually have to restyle my hair when I leave a salon, but not here!!! Rachael is AMAZING!!! I was visiting the Las Vegas area and went to her on recommendation from my daughter. My only complaint is that I won’t be able to regularly have her do my hair. Oh and I almost forgot, during the shampoo she gives a head massage that relieves any head tension you have and will almost put you to sleep. I can’t say enough positive things about this stylist.

After a number of years getting my hair cut and colored by Rachael, I highly recommend High Maintenance Aveda Salon. My altered hair color blends so well with new growth that only I (and she) can tell that it’s grown out. The hair cut is so easy to maintain as she pays attention to what my hair prefers to do. She knows hair!
