Kevin(owner) seemed like a nice guy on the phone and agreed to fix my toilets that afternoon. He showed up 20 minutes late, but he worked really fast. In fact, he finished working on both toilets in 15 minutes. He asked for $ 75. I told him that I thought that was high for 15 minutes worth of work. I offered $ 40 and he accepted. He quickly left my house. When I was near one of the toilets, I could hear that it was filling up about every two minutes. I checked the other toilet – same thing! I called him immediately and left a message about the toilets. He didn’t return my call, so I called him again and left another message. It’s now two days later and still no returned call. I guess I learned a $ 40 lesson – never call this guy again.

My husband and I just bought a house and it needed quite a bit of work. Kevin Norton, the owner of Norton Handyman, was referred to me by a friend. I gave Kevin a list of about 20 things that needed to be done, some small like replacing a broken light switch, and some big like installing a water softener(my house had never been plumbed for one before). Kevin and his assistant were efficient and knowledge. His prices were reasonable, too. I am very satisfied with his work and will be asking him back again. It is difficult to find professionals who you can trust enough to let into your home. I have found Kevin to be one of those professionals.
