Staples

This Staples is fine… it’s a typical Staples, not much to talk about.
This review is for Scott in printing. I have had him do a few projects for my office and he always does an excellent job creating professional items. We’ve had him laminate and cut business cards, and mount and laminate 24×36 maps we’ve printed. He does it cheaper and better than I could do it myself, and with much fewer cuss words I’m sure! Thanks Scott!

Nice store with great parking and good copy center. Will avoid them awhile after last experience:
Made small evening purchase there May 27, and got a call next day from AX fraud department asking if I just spent $ 200+ at Fresh & Easy. Said NO then logged onto AX account to find 2 more bogus May 28 charges at Green Valley Staples for $ 200 and $ 400 gift cards. Fraud person was happy to know so soon, hope they catch someone quickly! (Also a good reason not to use debit cards…)

This store has always been a sleeper — not many customers even on Black Fridays when I visited before. The store is clean and has the usual Staples merchandise but with a bigger variety of clearance items (possibly because they’re not that busy?). If you like Staples, you’ll like this store. If not, you won’t.

Bate and switch
I have been shopping at Staples for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. Two and a half stars is what I would have given it, because buying office supplies just isn’t all that exciting. Today, however, that changed. I went in to the store to buy a case (10 reams) of paper; I understand that paper can be expensive so I looked for the best deal. I found a box on the shelf marked $ 38.99 so I called a pimply-​faced customer service child over to confirm that that was the price, which he did. I schlepped the box to the check-​out counter and was told that it was not $ 38.99 but actually $ 53.99 — a significant increase. I explained to that pimply-​faced customer service child that the first pimply-​faced customer service child confirmed that the price was $ 38.99, but the second pimply-​faced customer service child would hear none of it. So, either I was out-​right lied to, or this was a bate-​and-​switch tactic to cause people to pay more. Either way, I walked out and will not darken their door again.

Square Trade RIP OFF warranties sold here! I bought a product with a warranty that Staples sells, it turns out it is by Square Trade. This is absolute garbage, I’ve been on hold for 45 minutes just being transferred endlessly around India for my warranty that supposedly exists, what good is the warrant if I can’t even talk to a person??? The call que keeps saying 1 minute to talk to someone, it’s been saying that for the last 45 minutes WTF!!! RIP OFF! SCAM!

WOW. Overpriced is all I can say.
I went in looking for HP ink for my deskjet.
There was an employee who was able and willing to help us.
He did have to use the book… but I can’t expect him to know every type of ink that man has made… I guess I don’t go shopping for ink enough to see how disturbingly priced it is.
With just about every ink cartridge (even just black, which is what I was looking for) all had starting price points of $ 30. Not having the guts to pay this, I thanked the associate, and left.
Target had the cartridge for $ 14.
I’m just saying.

store does not honor what staples website deal even after I made call and reserved merchandise online. I followed all the Staples website rules to the T. The manager «Jim» is a jerk, he decided not to sell me the products at the deal price even he has them in stock and there is NO item limit. No wonder staples is going down the tube. People who work for Staples should find different job

Ya it is a chain, but it is new, and clean, and huge. Pretty big store to be honest. Where else are you going to find all of your office needs in one store? Don’t answer that smarty pants. If you are in the area and need supplys Staples is pretty sweet.

I must say this store fills out this strip mall nicely. I don’t like to be completely negative.
I used to feel comfortable going in this store. But so many sales associates asked me if I needed help finding something it almost felt like harassment. I did purchase a Dell desktop computer on-​line and had it shipped to the store for pick-​up. Upon my exit out of the store the clerks started asking me «could they have the computer?» I am by no means a stick in the mud. I try to see the humor in people. But I doubt they would say that to everyone walking out after a purchase. I felt singled out. Now I mostly shop on-​line for office products. Usually, this cuts out the nasty NV state sales tax. But I wish I could feel confortable going in this Staples.

Stacy in printing did a fabulous job. She wet above and beyond what I asked for her to do and saved me time! She did what others didn’t have time to do!

Strangely enough this Staples, way out in «old» Henderson off of Boulder Highway is a gem. It’s located in a large, spacious strip mall with plenty of parking.
The store is clean and bright. Everything was organized and set out nicely. I never really think about going to Staples too often because I never really feel the need to spend money on office equipment. However, this Staples proved to be nicer than Office Depots I have been to.
It’s really a plain store, there’s nothing special about it other than the fact I find it to be a bit above the standard of Office Depots. They do sell laptops and other electronics.
Checkout was quick and congenial. I even had to do a return of a tablet and there was no problem with handling the return. Although, I did have my receipt with me, which helps.
Overall a very nice store with knowledgeable, helpful staff.

I like Staples more than Office Depot.
This location has friendly staff and they know the products that they sell.

I come to this Staples for all my office shopping needs.
Store is easy to navigate around.
The some of the staff might appear shy, but if you stop them they will walk you to whatever it is that you need.

We were looking for a desk, and all of the employees were really nice and helpful.
Minus one star for not carrying desktop PCs with Intel processors. AMD sucks.
