Told the Barista it was my birthday today and then I specifically ordered a tall normal coffee to see if she would give it to me free but she did not nor did she ask me for my ID to prove it was my birthday it’s like she just didn’t care.
I would avoid the Starbucks inside the store.

I received your regular starbucks service. Staff were friendly, my skinny vanilla latte tasted a little too diluted but possibly just a difference in the amount of skim milk they put in. I like the overall aumbience of a Starbucks shop and can’t really see myself chillin in here for hours on end like I do at other starbucks locations in town with more lounge seating.

This is absolutely not the friendliest Starbucks, nor the fastest, but it does get the job done. I only come here because it’s very close to the house and, usually, there’s little to no line — which is good, because this location does not yet participate in the mobile app ordering.
One advantage is you can use your Vons Rewards Card here to accumulate points.
Manager is super-friendly. Everyone else is just meh.

I’m not a huge fan of «the grocery store Starbucks»! The coffee just doesn’t taste right the staff is usually un-interested in just about everything. I find there are waaaaaay to many people working for the cleanliness of the area that you would sit to enjoy your coffee. Dirty!!! This is exactly what I expected… But I always think to myself «it will get better next time» NOPE! Just go to a normal stand alone store… You get great staff and great product!

Can’t say enough about Amber and the crew at this location. They are super fast super friendly and my coffee is always perfect. It’s not a stand alone store people get impatient but this crew is awesome. Love being able to get my coffee quickly every morning.

There are little railings ‘separating’ this Starbuck’s from Von’s. Not many people would think twice about it, but it’s actually very convenient – imagine all the shoppers and their carts constantly strolling through your seats. So, «well designed,» indeed.
My regular is a sweetened, grande Passion Tea Lemonade. The barista makes mine extra, extra sweet, and I’m pretty sure she does that because I’m a younger customer. No complaints here, it’s delicious.
Very friendly staff and it’s always clean.

I patronize this Starbuck’s when I patronize Von’s, or I should say that I patronize Von’s when I patronize this Starbuck’s.
Von’s did a well-done job designing their Starbuck’s. Disparate from a handful of supermarket-managed Starbuck’s, the seats are plentiful. Being the journalist and reader that I am, I appreciate the bright lighting. With their location, this is a good place for people watching, and running into people that I know.
The Von’s that this Starbuck’s is in is a laid back store. So this mood permeates into their Starbuck’s.
I hope that Von’s management appreciates their Starbuck’s. It brings in people like me, that spend their money after their caffeine boost.
