I love peanuts after driving by the signs on I-85 in the past. I finally decided to stop in. My favorite is the honey mustard and the pesto Parmesan peanut. The peanut brittle is also good. The have a wide variety of flavored peanuts. Nice store.

To begin, the peanuts are outstanding. They offer several different varieties of nuts with different toppings. We ended up getting the dill pickle, Maui onion, bacon ranch, white chocolate, and of course, the regular peanut. The store was having a 75% off sale, so obviously that was a huge plus. The place at first was a little disappointing because, we expected to see and smell a peanut roasting facility. This place is just a retail establishment. The staff is rude too. The girl behind the counter said nothing while people asked about products. She just stood there.

Often when driving to/from DC to NC, we see this giant billboard that says something like«PEANUTOUTLET» in bold letters. Finally after seeing it several times, my friends and I decided that we would check it out. I imagined a giant peanut factory a la Willy Wonka but really it’s a very small storefront of shelves lined with dozens of different kinds of peanuts. They have a table with most of the flavors available for tasting — I highly recommend the Maui Onion and Hot Honey flavors, although they were all great. I also picked up a tin of the addictive toffee-like Peanut Butter Crumbles. My only suggestion is to offer smaller sizes and/or variety packs so it allows people to pick up a few more flavors. At $ 7 a tin, it felt a little ridiculous to spend $ 21 on nuts. Overall, it was a fun and tasty little side trip.

This place is just plain NUTS! You just can’t go wrong with Maui Onion flavored peanuts. If you like it spicy: FIREHOUSEHABANEROFLAVOREDPEANUTS. But they also offer almonds, cashews, pecans, pistachios. You can have them chocolate covered too.

If peanuts are your thing, this place is for you. They have all kinds of flavored nuts. The thing that makes this place worth reviewing is that they have a table with an open can of each flavor of nut. Follow the etiquette sign on the table and you can try every type in the store before buying. We did, and ended up with wasabi covered peanuts. Fun place! I hear they have really good sales right after Christmas.
