I love coming to my son to this park. He enjoys watching the planes land and enjoys the small play ground. Every time we go we always see bunnies running around. The baseball field is gorgeous. Maintained very well.

Vivaldi Park is a neighborhood park in the City of Henderson’s Seven Hills Master Planned Community off of Seven Hills Parkway south of Sunridge Heights Parkway. The majority of its seven acres is a grassy field. This grassy field features a playground, picnic tables, baseball diamond, restrooms, and a trailhead serving the Seven Hills Trail. When I review neighborhood parks, I evaluate the adjacent land-use and neighborhood. Vivaldi Park is a pearl in the necklace that is the Seven Hills Trail. In a way it is a representation of what is good about the Seven Hills Trail. It is children and family friendly. Children pass through here when passing through the grade separated Seven Hills Trail. Vivaldi Park is the location where the Seven Hills Trail branches off with the spur trail that runs alongside Henderson Airport to a neighborhood park adjacent to a gated community. This is possibly the only location in the Valley that overlooks both Henderson Airport and the Las Vegas Strip. Vivaldi Park is also the intersection of the Seven Hills community and the open space of Henderson Airport. Being that Vivaldi Park is incorporated into a homeowner’s association community, graffiti is relatively nil. When I review neighborhood parks, I also look at issues. Parking can be an issue. When I set out to start my Seven Hills Trail hike, the parking lot was empty to the point that I drove further to use Sonata Park as the trailhead. A few minutes later when I was hiking through Vivaldi Park, the parking lot was nearly full. I am glad that I parked at Sonata Park. The grassy field in Vivaldi Park is used as an unofficial soccer field. I saw soccer balls going into the parking lot, If I were to use this parking lot, I would park to the left of the restrooms. Another issue is that there are no signs along Seven Hills Parkway directing motorists to the parking lot. If you are from outside the Seven Hills master planned community, it is easy to pass the turnoff. Last Saturday was my third visit to Vivaldi Park(had not been in Unilocal). As a hiker on the Seven Hills Trail, Vivaldi Park gives me a nice spot to relax for a few minutes. If I were to be here at the right time, I could of watched the airplanes landing at Henderson Airport. All three times, the rest room was advantageous. Because I am a fan of the adjacent Seven Hills Trail, the views of Henderson Airport and the Las Vegas Strip; I am a fan of Vivaldi Park. I will not travel out of my way to visit Vivaldi Park(about a 5 mile drive). When I return to the Seven Hills Trail, I guarantee that I will be checking in at Vivaldi Park.
