Bartlett Tree Experts

I was contracted with Bartlett Tree Experts to have my tree chopped down and left in a pile of «firewood sized» pieces. When I had a moment to look at the job they had done, I found a mess on my front lawn. The pieces they left were huge! One piece of the tree was 9ft long, which is way too large for any normal person to lift on their own! I had to spend a couple hours finishing the work that I was paying them to do.
When I contacted them about reducing the price, I never heard anything back. Instead, I received a bill in the mail with a slightly reduced price. It was not even close to the amount that would have made up for the workload I had to put in.
UPDATE: Shortly after posting this review I got a call from Bartlett Tree Experts asking about my less than stellar review. I told him that there was still a 9ft long tree trunk in my front yard. Within a couple days he came out and cut it into shorter firewood sized pieces as was the original agreement.
For this I am moving my rating from 1 star to 3. It shouldn’t have taken a bad review on Unilocal to get the job done right, but I commend them for setting things right after the fact.
