Some of the best general tso I have ever had. On top of that, the delivery was SUPER fast, I was pleasantly surprised. They got our very specific order correct. Five stars for sure.

I passed by this place so many times since it looked like a generic place at a strip mall. Finally tried it tonight, and boy I should have tried it sooner. First we got the scallop app which was $ 5 so we did not expect much, but they were tasty and a decent size! The homemade duck sauce also tasted good, I kept eating it by itself haha. I tried this new thing called«crispy honey shrimp» and it was awesome! So much tasty sauce with it, and the shrimp was big and tasty and perfect. My sister got the dragon and phoenix thing, which was nice with both chicken and shrimp and veggies. More of a 4.5, but seeing the lower reviews on here made me want to give it a better one, since I feel like it deserves a better one. I could see us coming back. And you should try it out too. Nice interior, and friendly people.

I can’t say that I enjoyed my food. I ordered vegetarian dumplings and got pork instead. My General Tso tofu was a little gummy. I’m not sure I’ll be back. I’ll just stick to the other restaurant that I usually go to.

China Wok was suggested to me by a Co worker. And she mentioned it and I thought it was a joke. I only know China Wok from the mall. Then I tried it and it was great. Loved the chicken and broccoli, curry chicken, teriyaki chicken and beef and my favorite the French fries. The Mongolian beef and chicken wings are not so great. But I would still suggest it to a friend.

Got take out for lunch today. The general tsos chicken was really flavorful and pretty spicy. We also got the pupu platter. Crab Rangoon was great! Only things that was so-so were the beef teriyaki, short ribs and hot and sour soup.

Pretty bad. Almost $ 40 for two people to eat with one appetizer. The crab Rangoon was so tough it was hard to chew, granted the filling was great. Orange shrimp was like eating a tire. Sweet & Sour combo, I think I got 1 tire rubber shrimp, the pork was all fat but the chicken was decent. Won’t be eating here again.

Delicious food,. I think they are adding additional charges to our bill’s? The food there is exceptional all but I won’t stand for dishonest people. The lady who runs it is very sweet. I placed my order of Sesame chicken which they tell me comes with rice. And I ordered a egg roll as well. Chicken is 8.95 on the menu and the egg roll is about 2 bucks. When I went to sign for my check the total was 14.58! I asked to see the bill they flashed it to me and said, «The Tax is high here! I was too hungry to dispute the charge, but next time I go I’ll ask for the total and see it in the recite be for I hand over my card.

Great place for both delivery and carry out. I get the general tsos chicken, wife gets pork fried rice and whenever we are in the mood we get either egg rolls or the crab rangoons. These items are consistently tasty and we enjoy them every time. The counter girl(Nikki) is always friendly and always trying to upsell items without being pushy.(I actually appreciate that) China Wok is my go to place for Chinese. My only complaint is their won ton soup needs improvement, its not bad… but not good enough for me to want to always order it.

Great place for take-out/lunch specials. I’ve ordered here about 4 or 5 times. All but one have been at work for lunch specials. Recently, I ordered to go for my gf and I. We had one large(quart size) hot and sour soup, 1 regular chicken w/broccoli, 1 regular chicken lo mein. Total for the three meals was $ 20.xx. At first glance, this place doesn’t look like anything special. The food is really well priced and the quantity is enough to fill you up. My favorite thing about this run-of-the-mill Chinese place is the flavour. Out of all the little Chinese joints around town, this one has the best flavour and is consistently good! The hot and sour soup came out perfectly, the chicken w/broccoli was an even ratio of chicken to broccoli and the brown sauce was delicious. In addition, the lo mein was perfectly flavoured. At most places, this is the greasiest of dishes — this one was not greasy at all and after eating my fill, I didn’t feel grossed out. There was enough to go around for a second round and the hot and sour soup went down quick! If you order the lunch special, expect rice and a egg roll. The lunch specials are slightly smaller than the regular, BUT there is still enough for you to feel satisfied. My only gripe(which knocked off a star) is that when I was waiting in line to order, the lady that took my order spoke very little, broken English and I had to repeat my order 4 times before she understood I wanted chicken w/broccoli. She kept repeating it saying BEEF w/broccoli… Needless to say I double checked it before I left, but overall it was more pleasant experience than other local Chinese joints. If you’ve been debating on trying this one, please do! It will definitely be my new go-to Chinese place in the short pump area.

Solid take-out/delivery place. General tso chicken and fried rice are my go to meals anywhere I go, and theirs is as good as any. Their won-ton soup is decent, but have definitely had better. Crab Rangoons are really tasty. This is my Chinese spot and I hope they keep up the good job.

This place is great. The food is always good and the service is very fast and attentive I highly recommend it. They deliver which is hard to find a place that does in Richmond.

O.M.G. My boyfriend and I have tried several places in the far West End in the search for decent Chinese delivery: Asia Garden, City Lights of China and China Star. Blech! Disappointment! Friends, our search is over. This place is awesome! I measure the success of any Chinese place based on my all time favorite, Veg Lo Mein. If you screw up this simple dish, forget it. Close your doors. You suck at life. I was so relieved that China Wok, with reasonable prices, online ordering and fast delivery, made the grade with *FRESH* vegetables. Mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, baby corn, onions, broccoli and snap peas are all fresh, well seasoned and cut in uniform pieces so everything cooks evenly. My boyfriend likes the sesame beef which has a lovely crisp texture underneath a well balanced sauce that keeps you returning for another bite. We’ve ordered delivery 4 or 5 times so far and we will definitely keep ordering from China Wok!

«Order Online» says the menu that showed up in my mailbox one day. So I did. The webpage is set up such that it encourages you to create an «account», but you can order as a guest, and the last thing I need is another online account. There was no confirmation after I’d submitted my order, save for a bit of text that said«your order has been processed.» I waited a few minutes in case an email showed up with more information, but nothing showed up, so I hopped in the car and drove up there. When I walked in, I told the young woman that I’d placed an order online and was there to pick it up. «Oh, online ordering is not working now.» Well isn’t THAT flipping wonderful. Good thing I didn’t order for delivery, or I’d still be waiting. It would have been nice to have gotten some indication that their system wasn’t working so I could have chosen something or some place else for dinner. But I was kind of hungry, so I placed my order in person. I gave the numbers from the menu(Two A2 and a C2), but then she had to look at the menu herself to determine what those were. So, um, yeah. Five minutes later I had my food and was out of there. I got home and dug in, and it was just generic Chinese food. Nothing special at all, and given the ordering experience, I’m sure I’ll choose just about any of the dozen other Chinese restaurants that are within a 10 minute drive. After I ate, I went back online and still had the China Wok page open, so I clicked on the link that said Feedback. I filled out their form, but then discovered that you can’t leave feedback unless you create an account. Nice. Like I said, dozens of other choices in the area if you’re jonesin’ for a spring roll and some Gen’l Tso’s. Pick one of those.
