I usually don’t write reviews, I never have the time and I never care that much. This time I will make the exception. If you are looking for the summation quickly: do not use this company. It’s not worth it. The actual movers were very polite, when they first started, I told the main guy that in the past I had a bad moving experience; only moved once before, the furniture was damaged the whole nine, he ASSURED me that if we take care of them they would take care of us. (yes I know I should have asked them to leave as soon as he said that)
1^st they never provided us with an estimate of how much they thought the job would be. We thought it would cost 400 at the most, it ended up costing us $ 850!!! Yes $ 850 hard earned dollars in a slow economy. I recently was in the hospital for back surgery so I could not move the furniture myself so I swallowed that part, the part that birthed this review is the workers destroying 8 month old glass wedding gifts that were in boxes properly labeled fragile as well as snapping in half a book case that I had purchased 5 months prior. The bookcase was designed to be light weight so cookbooks could be in her kitchen.
I filed the claim and for the $ 250 worth of damage they sent me a check for $ 54 dollars. When I contacted Darryl Ricks the «president» of the «company» he proceeded to read over and over about our ability to purchased additional insurance that of course no one, not his sale person Adrienne, none of the 3 movers working that day remembered to mention.
Summation: I have told all the members of Business Networking group, all the employers in my logistics office, everyone who is thinking about moving, my neighbors, and I will continue to tell anyone who will listen to never give this company business, in my opinion you are better off letting an ex loan shark do it.
