I am very surprised at the negative comments. I live where this chain is based, and OK some locations are not as good as others but this location is just fine. Service was attentive, food was good, and the place was packed. Not sure where everybody uses as a benchmark but in my recent visit with another out if town guest things were just fine.

Always consistent. Nice lunch prices and speedy service. Restaurant and facilities were neat and clean. Lunch was plated nicely and food arrived hot and tasted fresh. Would return.

I have to say, the food was pretty good. Came here with a friend after graduation, and although I wasn’t impressed, the food wasn’t all that bad. Even though I didn’t pay for the bill, this is your typical Mexican restaurant, and there are about a quintillion Mexican restaurants in the RVA. Overall, not my favorite, but decent.

Terrible food!!! Servers were nice and attentive. Even the salsa that they give for free was bad. Yuck!

We had an excellent time. My wife ordered the San Jose Burrito and I ordered Enchiladas Chipotle. Both were tasty, large portions, and came out very quickly. The service was quick and nice. No complaints. For dessert we had ice cream with a crust around it. We strongly recommend you try them out!

Service isn’t great, margaritas aren’t great, food isn’t great, chips aren’t great, the chairs weigh 100lbs and everything is large. That is all

I think they fancy themselves as a more upscale Mexican place and though the places looks better than the usual Mexican place the food sadly is not.

When looking for a place to eat on a Saturday night and everything else has a 2 hour wait, this place is amazing! Loved the décor and food was good. Ordered a side table guacamole, just wish it was more avocados but flavor very authentic.

Service was fast, but not friendly. Our queso appetizer came out at the same time as our meal… a pet peeve of mine. My lunch was supposed to come with a choice of rice or beans. The waitress forgot to ask for my choice. Has the typical chain restaurant look and feel. Inflated prices for what it is. We’ll skip it.

The service was poor from the minute I walked in. They seemed like they didn’t want to serve me 30 minutes before closing. I asked if they rather me leave or order take out and they unconvincingly insisted I stay. So I did but I wish I didn’t. The cheese dip was lukewarm and had no spice. It tasted like cheez wiz. Then I got a mushroom and cheese quesadilla which was burnt and swimming in grease. All this awfulness set me back $ 10. It wasn’t worth $ 1. I don’t know what had happened to this place but this is why I go to Casa Grande. Never again!

Service was mediocre and food was bad. The chips were stale and oily. I had the«Steak Azteca» which was swimming in oil along with vegetables! I was actually walking towards BJs brewhouse across the street for dinner but for some strange reason, I turned around and went to this place and very much regret going there.

I tried this out despite the bad reviews and I’m so glad I did! To start they were definitely busy, which is always a great sign for a restaurant. But the service did not suffer from the crowd. We sat in the bar area which has big beautiful chairs that are slightly heavy so be warned. The chips are some of the best I have ever had and were even better with the cheese dip and salsa.(I went back a week later and got the at table guac which wasn’t amazing but still very good). My husband got a combo that he always gets at Mexican restaurants with a chili relleno. It was one of the best he has ever had! I did al a carte tacos, the chicken and beef are both very good.(I got the enchiladas later and they were also very good!) Their menu has a great variety for picky eaters with all the classics plus some. BEST part? The house margaritas!!! I got strawberry, while the people with me with me got the peach, the raspberry and the original. All equally delicious in their own way. The house made mix is definitely what does the trick! Overall much better experience than most of the reviews!

I had Tacos de Carne Asada which is not on the menu but of course, they knew what it was and made if for me. Actually, they were happy I ordered it and even brought me seasoned pinto beans(not refried) as a side which I didn’t order. The food was really good and I can be picky about Mexican food. We also had cheese dip but I was a little disappointed about it because they didn’t season it with green chilies or anything. It was simply queso blanco melted down with leche. The staff is friendly and our waiter took good care of us.

The food here is okay, and the service isn’t the best. Nothing really special here.

Met my wife for lunch. Rarely do I get to join my wife for lunch during the work week, so this was a special treat. The chips came out and I really liked them. They were crunchy and thick. My wife didn’t like them as much as she likes chips a bit lighter. The menu came and I was a bit disappointed. How many mexican restaurants have the same predictable combinations. Speedy Gonzales — it’s everywhere. At first, I was disappointed because the menu was VERY light for lunch choices forcing you to view the full dinner menu. I had the fish tacos. I was anxious until they arrived. I was amazed about the presentation. Presentation? When did you ever think a Mexican restaurant cared about such things? Maybe Vegas. Here, they did! It looked great. The rice was different, the beans unique, the fish tacos were fabulous. It was as if they get their wholesale products from somewhere different from EVERY other Mexican restaurant. Not only was the food good, but the portions were large. The décor is very nice. They did a good job making the place look authentic without that festive Cinco de Mayo ambiance most places wind up with. Chips good. My wife had a chicken & spinach quesadilla with a cheese enchilada. She really enjoyed the main meal and also was amazed with the presentation. The only thing that could have been improved was the service. The service was great at times and gone at the end when we wanted to check out. They also gave us the check and thought we would just pay at the table. Took a while to find out that we had to take the check to the counter near the door. Definitely looking forward to returning.
