They have a lot of different food! Suchi, icecream and chocolate cake. The service is ok. Everything was clean. A little bit over price.

The food here is very good, the price is reasonable! I eat very comfortable! But there’s a part of the guests quality is too low, a waste of food! In this world there are many refugees have no food!

This place is disgusting. My friend found a roach in her food and then when she confronted the manager and asked for her money bad they said we can’t do that but we can offer you a free meal on your next visit. She said«next visit» as if. I work at a hotel and we will never recommend this place again.

Used to come here often, food was great. Didn’t come back for a few months and it completely changed. Sushi has rotten fish, hibachi has no flavor, hot bar is gross. Made me and my boyfriend sick. Worst of all is the service!!! Will not be back!

It used to be my favorite spot, however there has been a significant change in the food and upkeep of the establishment.

My experience coming here has been a hit or miss. To be honest, I rarely eat off the hot bar, but mostly visit their hibachi grill. It depends on who cooks that day if your items will be cooked right. I mostly have to direct them how I like my food grilled. Since their opening, they have been through several management changes, and you can tell by the quality of the food, as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant. Overall, it’s an OK place to come. Just make sure you check the dept of health to make sure they don’t have current health code violations at the time you visit!

Honestly did not want to put one star but had to in order to write review. I’m not going into all the scary details here cause they have already been on the critical lists several times so there you go-right there that pretty much sums it up. I will say when they first opened up it was soooo good, but at that time what we didn’t know was probably best as they say, right! Well they went down hill so fast that they make a melted milk shake look good. They now do not always serve the chicken nor the fried fish that everyone wanted so that was a big Flop! Then it’s a hit or miss to get them to do anything or bring out hot or fresh food. Getting any help they speak no English they say but some have walked away speaking perfect English including the sucky management/owners and whoever they claim to be at the time. Try getting help or something made at the sushi bar is impossible and who wants it when your ready to leave or how dirty the work area is-Scary! How they handle the plates in the Suchi or grill area, I think not! Sometimes if trying to get someone to cook on the grill you may want to hold your breath or cook it yourself or you may be there awhile. They take your money first and not because of really not paying the problem at hand is the service, nasty food and some not cooked all the way either or service and getting drink refills and that’s all they have to do and it’s sucks but they want a tip! Tip is the day you gotta wait on your tables you only bring drinks and food needs to be on much higher standards and start serving back on the bar all foods– have staff with a smile and no attitude in the sushi and grill area and Never Ever Should Anyone Be Arguing With Customers When Your Place Is Way Below Standards & You Take $$$$$ And Have Many Problems With Your Food To The Point of being past nasty, unsafe, unclean, handling wrong, many posted violations as well and lack of caring, management, food quality to be even close to satisfactory & all we can say as we went a bunch in the beginning till all the issues to one day we had a big issue and just wasn’t sure as well watch for being overcharged on your bill and even take out also– to the point that a friend wanted to go and we tried once more after it had been a very long time and it was so bad we couldn’t get our money back-keep this in mind we had just sat down and had not eaten and with the issues asked for a manager and explained and all we then wanted to do was get our money back and leave like very quickly and they refused we tried and of coarse were upset, disappointed but nothing we could do but leave rather then take any risks!!! I never leave a bad review & it has to be really really really unreal and all I can say is At Your Own Risk but they have a very king ways to go on their food as well how to treat people. I honestly can say I would rather eat elsewhere no problem but I also would not allow someone I didn’t know or like or my own animal to endure this place-like it’s not funny, not joking but Not At All. Some places just because they have a business license doesn’t make them an expert or good at it and especially with my food– where are the standards with food businesses and what I now really would like to know is what qualifies other then paying for a business license to either make, sure or whatever a business or our food? Why do we not put higher standards or guidelines or credentials or certifications or degrees in order to even open a food restaurant? It’s way to easy and our food is everything! If you have to in order to be a doctor or lawyer then why not with our food source? This I really want to know… As a society why do we not care a great deal or pushing this issue? Just wondering…

So what to say? I’ll start out with the bad, but hang in there it gets better! The seating system is confusing, the place is VERY worn out and needs a bunch of inexpensive TLC. The carpet and booths are in horrible condition but over all the place isn’t really dirty. It is just really run down. The servers are nice and attentive and the food is much better than I expected from a buffet in a kinda slow strip mall.

6 of my Coworker and I went here for lunch. The restaurant smelled as the carpet was wet. It was humidity and the food was not that great. I only have a salad and chicken. Same as my boss. Her a co worker and myself got stomach sick the same day and continue until the next day. We do not recommend this place and never will go back. One of my co workers recommended that is why we went, she said it was not like that when she visited. Uhh.

This was, by far, the very worst buffet experience I have had in the Richmond area. We decided to stray from our usual choice and try the Teppanyaki(Laburnum Ave). When you get in, you are confronted with choosing your drinks and paying right away, so either tip the staff upfront or remember to bring cash with you. There is also some sort of raffle(??) so you get a ticket for that as well when you pay. The staff seemed overly confused, to the point that we almost left before ever being greeted, charged or sat at a table. Once at a table we started to realize just how filthy the restaurant is — the seats are torn, the tables were dirty, the walls, the floors — all dirty. Not the most inviting atmosphere. But we’re daring, so we continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. As we made our way to the food, there must have been something about this particular buffet that we just simply do not know because instead of any of the other guests following any sort of orderly pattern, or even just observe basic manners — we were pushed, bumped into and«cut» off each time we tried to get food from any of the buffet areas(there are quite a few). It was almost comical that people were so serious and aggressive about the food — but really it was absurd. Our drinks(which we ordered before we even had a table) had still not arrived when we got back from the battle over food.(They wouldn’t arrive until 10 minutes after we had food). Still holding out hope that this place would blow us away, we tasted the food. The food. It was awful. Every single thing we tried was just absolutely tasteless, clearly of the previously frozen variety, and just down right bad. We tasted each of the things we had on our plate and even tried one or two more before giving up and throwing in the towel. This place misses every mark imaginable. The staff is confused and clearly miserable, the guests are sad and mean, the place is filthy and the food was terrible. I have never written such a scathing review, this place just couldn’t possibly be any worse.

A family member introduced me to this buffet during my brief stay in Henrico. First thing that hit me when entering was that it was PACKED. I’ve never been to a buffet with so many people! I knew it was lunch time, but geez, haha. Pushing my social anxiety aside, I stayed. Another thing that struck me was how much food there was. Numerous, long buffet lines filled to the brim with hot, steamy food. The food was replenished frequently, which was great. This certain family member raved about the fried chicken, so I tried a piece. I must say, it was tasty. There were a few things I’ve never had at a buffet, like the stuffed potatoes and the fried sweet potato balls. The desserts were nice as well. My drink was always filled, and the price was very reasonable. The second time I went, the experience was the same. The place wasn’t as packed, seeing as we went late in the evening. The third time we went, on my graduation night, was the worst experience. The food was bland and dry, the selection was so-so, and the desserts were almost non-existent. I’m not going to let the third time keep me from visiting again. Overall, it’s one of, if not, my favorite buffet.

Too many food selections but, I’m not complaining. The Hibachi grill is a must have. get it your way. A great way to try Sushi for the first time, with many selections. Save room for dessert, tonight there are several cakes to choose from. Friendly host & wait staff. Clean environment… Large enough for easy flow with crowds.

The best thing about this place is that it is constantly pretty busy meaning that the food is replenished often and stays hot. The food is OK, but nothing terrible or too disgusting. It is kept pretty clean considering the amount of traffic that runs through there. The sushi is a miss, but who really goes there to eat sushi? Although I probably wouldn’t go here too often, but if I get a chinese food craving and want to stuff my face, this is the place to go. I remember paying $ 12 and change for dinner per person. Good price. Service was excellent considering how busy they were.

Horrible service, over half of the trays are empty at 8:30 pm, and there was molded fruit!

We went here not too long after it first opened, and have not been back since. It is huge, and clean, and is probably the largest buffet that I ever been to. BUT, the food isn’t good. They chose to go with quantity over quality, and every dish I tasted was just greasy and flavorless. Chinese buffets don’t usually have top-quality food, but theirs was barely edible, price notwithstanding. Won’t be back, ever.

I genuinely feel like the food only deserves three stars, but the décor and the price value really convinced me to give four stars overall. Teppanyaki Grill and Supreme Buffet is a huge restaurant. It is laid out very clearly with the buffet in the middle and seating on the sides. You pay and order drinks when you enter(reminded me of Souplantation; not sure if you get refills on drinks) and then present your receipt to get seated. There are six or so individual buffet stands/stations with a variety of dishes, ranging from traditional Chinese dishes to chicken nuggets and macaroni + cheese. There is also a full line of food in the back(sushi and made-to-order teppanyaki grill). There is fruit, ice cream, and a ton of desserts as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the restaurant. The colorful lights and the nice water fountain near the entrance really added a nice touch too. Overall, what makes this place great is that lunch is only $ 6-ish, and dinner is only $ 9-ish! These prices can’t be beat for this great a quantity of food! Although the food is mediocre-to-good in quality, you don’t have to pay much at all to leave incredibly stuffed. I know I definitely left with a food baby…

I’ve never written a 5 star review about a buffet before, but this restaurant is far above most that I’ve visited. The food was rotated properly and served fresh & hot. Many steam tables of mostly Asian style foods including a hibachi and sushi area. Service was great as far as clearing the tables and refreshing beverages. Everything appeared to be very clean from the serving area, the hibachi, what I could see of the kitchen and especially the bathroom. I waited a few days for the review to ensure there were no other reasons to doubt their sanitation. In summary, the quality is high, and the price was quite low. That, to me, equals satisfaction and value. Way to go!

Friend brought me here for lunch(Which is only 8 bucks!). Initial reaction? Surprised. The atmosphere is inviting, to say the least. You are greeted with fountain streams at the entrance that you want to reach at and grab, despite the sign ordering you to not do so. Dark colors and light blue ambiance lights sets soft tones in the dining area, with easily over a dozen islands offering everything from sushi to macaroni and cheese. Initially, I was skeptical to try BUFFET style sushi, but it truly wasn’t terrible and although the selections were somewhat limited, you can NOT beat a few sushi rolls and unlimited –whatever else– you want for 8 dollars for lunch. Surprised to see raw tuna, salmon, and roe options on the sushi side of the buffet, but it was tasty, all things considered. The food is fairly decent, for a buffet. Lots of options from sushi, to vegetables, and fruits(chocolate fountain, say whaaaaat?), dessert cakes, ice cream, chinese food(general tso’s, sesame chicken, pepper shrimp, etc), habatchi selections, salmon, crab, shrimp … I truly can’t even RECALL all the food options. Let us just say, you’ll be hard pressed to try one of everything your first and second visit. Wrap up: If you’re looking for a new experience, or would like to try different food items to which you’d rather not spend normal dinner entrée prices on, this place is a good start. Or alternatively, if you are just craving sushi, chinese, habatchi, or just a random assortment of any of the aforementioned, this place is a good pick, too. Did I mention the 8 $ lunch? Yeah.
