I had my first appointment a few weeks ago, and it was wonderful! My hair has been fried from numerous bleachings over the past two years so I decided to go back to my original dark brown while keeping the ends lighter. Erin did a phenomenal job and was so honest about what haircut would take the most damage off. I have never had a stylist as awesome as her and you will never be bored as she is a great conversationalist too! I will definitely be back!

I had Kayla for my haircut today. It was easy to explain to her what I wanted and she knew exactly what to do. All the staff are very friendly and the prices are the most affordable that I’ve found in Richmond.

After reading such good reviews, I was so excited to get a haircut here. But, the girl (Christina) started to mess up my hair and I had to ask the other girl to cut my hair. She (don’t know her name) did a fair job. Since she had another customer waiting she asked Christina to dry my hair and Christina refused. In the reviews I was only reading good things about tony and Erin, May be they are the ones you should get a cut from (if you go by the reviews). But my experience was not very good.
But I have to say this too: the other girl who came to cut my hair was good, with good customer handling etiquettes.

Im «happy» with my results. I wasnt too sure what exactly i wanted to begin with but Erin and Kim helped me out with figuring it out. We talked for a good half hour and these were the results… I am content with the results even though I was looking to get blonder highlights but due to me previously dying my hair black with box dye, it was kinda tricky. Kim colored and styled my hair. I’m finding myself to like it more and more everyday and hopefully will be going back soon to bleach my highlights even more. And the price was reasonable. Considering I did have some harsh lines but they weren’t noticeable unless I lifted my hair up. I’m guessing over time those will fade in as my hair grows.

Great haircut by Erin! I asked her to do what she thinks needs to be done with my hair. She took off length and added layers, which gave my hair a great shape. I am very happy with the result.

She is a pretty great and well accommodating. I have been going to her for the past two years and there has never been a disappointing cut. Erin cares about her customers and the way they want their hair. She listens and gives great hair advice. Very affordable for such a great hairstylist.

Went today with an appointment for erin. My hair was really ugly and withpurple pink hair color. I requested my ombré hair. to be honest I didn’t care what my hair looked like just anything better than what I came in with. I wasn’t expecting the outcome I had. My hair looked beautiful. Of course, my hair couldn’t be lighter but all my purple was out. Erin was amazing and very friendly. I’m definitely going back here again. Possibly my go to salon!

Went to Tony’s hair to fix a botched haircut i received at another salon in the area. I didn’t make an appointment so I went as soon as they opened and they fit me right in! I only had to wait a few minutes! Erin was the one who cut my hair and she did an amazing job! She asked what I wanted, I showed her and she did it! She also gave me tips on how to maintain it as well as kept a steady conversation with me. The prices were fair for the service and I would definitely recommend Tony’s Hair to anyone who is looking for a good place for hair! I think I may have found a home for my hair!

I was so pleased i came straight home and wrote this review. I am new to Virginia, Moved here from NY last November. I have been putting off cutting my hair for over a year. in fact it has been almost two years so you can imagine the cut i needed. Since i have moved here i have been searching for a place to do my hair. I finally came across Tony’s on Unilocal and saw the great reviews so i decided to give it a shot. Erin did my hair, she washed it, cut it in long layers and blow dried it all in 30 mins. Best of all i love the way my hair came out it turned out great! I feel beautiful and Se*y again lol. The price was really inexpensive compared to what i am use to. This will definitely be my go to for my hair cut i strongly recommend going here. Thank you soo much Erin!!!

Came here for a second time, this time to get my hair cut. I have had long hair for years, and I decided to get a long bob/“lob”. Made an appointment with Erin after seeing reviews here and I couldn’t be happier. She did a great job and showed me how to style it too! Amazing overall experience, and I will definitely be coming back in the future.

I saw Jess to have my hair colored. I have a TON of hair, and she did a fantastic job helping me decide what color would be best; it came out beautifully (if I do say so myself).
She also cut my mother’s hair, and that looked great as well. Their prices are so affordable, which is great in Richmond.
I live in Hampton Roads, and I will be making an appointment soon to have my roots touched up.

The Best place to get your haircut and/​or Styled. Tony and his Brother stay busy, as he has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. His prices are great. In addition Erin has come aboard in the last year as she is his Lead Hair Dresser/​Stylist. She is a must try for you Ladies who are looking for that Special Style and/​or Cut.
