Stayed here on our way home from CO. The man at the front desk was so nice and helpful! He even came up to our rooms and shoved show away from the door to our room right when we checked in. The beds were very comfortable and there was even a small refrigerator. Highly recommend this hotel for the price. And I am picky!

The staff was courteous, the room was nice, and the breakfast was good. Nothing special really stood out about this hotel but it was not a bad experience whatsoever. If you are debating on where to stay in this area I would recommend this place.

I stayed here for 4 nights. I booked this room through . I got a great price. The room was really clean and spacious. There was a table, 2 chairs, overstuffed chair, microwave, and fridge in the room. I loved the extra counter space in the bathroom plus an extra counter outside the bathroom with a mirror to get ready. There were plenty of plugs in the hotel room and bathroom. I had a handicapped shower where the shower curtain didn’t go all the way to the floor but I didn’t have a problem with water going on the bathroom floor. The breakfast was nice. Make your own waffles, cold cereal, pastries, coffee, juice, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, and sausage patties. The only negative comment is my room was close to the road and could hear traffic but even that wasn’t a problem for me because I sleep with ear plugs.

Spent the night here last night and was very dissappointed. After driving 600 miles straight, my father in law, the Mr. and I needed a place for the night. The biggest issue we had was the breakfast. They were remodeling the kitchen and could only serve muffins and danishes, store bought and who knows how old. They didnt tell us about the kitchen until AFTER we signed in and paid for our room. There was snow and ice on the ground, which is fine, since i live in indiana. There were metal slopes on the ground, and slick because of the snow and ice. We had to jump over them completely to keep from slipping. They were more than a nuisance; they were a hazard. The parking was awful. The parking spaces were in the back, and just screamed«mugging.» The shower was level with the bathroom floor, a cloth curtain that didnt reach the floor, and there was a handicap chair taking up half the small shower. On the bright side, the room was clean and smelled really good. I didnt take any of this out on the young girl working there though, none of it was her fault. She helped us to the best of her ability, and i am grateful for that.

The cleanliness of this inn is questionable at best. Our room had cobb webs hanging from the ceiling and stains on the wall paper. I cringe to think of the last time the bed comforter was washed properly. The water pressure was poor, and the room had far too few electrical outlets. In fact, the room was littered with extension cords so that the lamps in the far corners, the television, and alarm clock could all have power. We had to unplug at least one of these when we needed to recharge our cellular phone. Also, the heater in the room was so old that it struggled to keep us warm(we visited in late December). If you’re stuck in the small town of Hereford, TX like we were, I strongly encourage you to consider paying a little more to stay at the Holiday Inn Express just two doors down.
