Driving 83 into the Coronado National forest is breathtaking. You can stop at the visitors center and go hiking on any number of trails or continue your drive off the paved road and to to Montezuma’s pass. The views are absolutely amazing and so is the altitude. Remember to take water and drive an appropriate vehicle. The roads are fairly narrow in spots and dirt and gravel is all there is, so low riding cars are not a great option to really enjoy the ride. Something with good suspension and handling is best. :)
