Forget the thruway rest areas and take the extra few minutes to go get a gyro!!! The owner is a riot and he makes the best beef and lamb gyro meat I’ve ever tasted. The pita is fresh and perfectly moist and fluffy, the salad and sauce is the crowning glory. Definitely planning this stop on our frequent trips back and forth on the thruway.

The best gyro I’ve had ever. Treated well actually treated like family, takes care of you makes sure your food is full to the brim. On top of the cost the man makes a meal for a man. Can create a sammich. Not a sandwich lol. He is one of the best men to come into Herkimer for food. Makes me happy to come into this town and open up something that brings culture back.

The best gyros you will find in central NY. And only $ 5. Truly a gem of a place. The owner is from Greece and all personality! Gyro loaf is carved fresh for your order. He also has great seasoned beef and chicken for gyros as well as excellent falafel. He’s open for lunch and dinner takeout. Go there and go there often. Keep this guy in business!
