Reminds me of old times down Christmas lane. Wish it was up now lol. Good service great prices. What’s not to like about this place. Visited in the morning which is the best time.

My wife went to Kraynaks every year as a child and she took me last year and I really liked it. We went this year too for Christmas and took our young daughter. It is so nice to view all of the different displays including Muppets, Sesame street, Peanuts characters and so much more. The store itself is huge and you could easily spend a few hundred dollars in here, but it’s a place you can go to and enjoy without spending any cash. We are taking our 10 month old daughter to see easter Bunny Lane next saturday and cannot wait for it. We are going to make this a yearly tradition in our family. I would recommend this place to people who love displays and holidays.

I wish we had a place like this in Reno! From vintage toys to unique gifts, Kraynaks has everything you need to make a holiday or event special. This place will always be in my heart and a must stop for anyone visiting Sharon, PA.

This place reminds me of a 5&10 store in the Buffalo area called Vidler’s. It is one of those places where there are rooms and rooms full of «stuff» that no one actually needs but that you end up wanting. Tons of Christmas decorations and displays for sale in every theme you can imagine. Sports merchandise, toy and collectible trains, toys and games, books, tons of novelty items. It was a blast just looking through aisle after aisle of useless stuff. And Christmas lane — what fun! I was a little kid again looking at animated Sesame Street characters, Coke Bears and other fun novelties moving around, skating, fishing, etc. When we first arrived at the store, the line was too long to go in, but by about 8:30, there was no line. I recommend going at opening or closing if you want to see the Christmas displays with no line. This was my first time in the store and I have no doubt I’ll make an annual tradition out of a visit there.

The prices of the merchandise are pretty high, but Christmas Lane and Easter Bunny Lane are completely free, and so much fun! Kids love it, grown ups love it! It’s a great time for everyone. Waiting in line for this is 10 times better than waiting to get a picture with Santa/Easter Bunny at the mall. Plus, you can bring a camera and take your own pictures for free.

Ah, good old Kraynak’s. Few things take me back to my childhood faster than a trip to Christmas Tree/Easter Bunny Lane. This place even smells the same as it did when I was a kid in the 80s. I can’t lie, the service here is often less than stellar. The toy selection is meh. However, I think we all know why we go out of our way to visit year after year.
It’s not to buy toys(though we usually do end up getting at least one), it’s not to buy plants(though the greenhouse always has plenty of gorgeous plants to choose from), it’s not to buy Christmas décor(though they have just about anything you could ever want, in every theme imaginable). The nostalgia factor is high here, and honestly, that’s why I bring my own child back every year. If you grew up in western PA or northeast OH, it’s tradition.

Oh, Kraynak’s. You are so weird and so wonderful and such a part of my Christmas history I will fight to get to you every year. This place is like walking into a time capsule of the 1970’s — nothing has changed since then, except for more stuff and newer items. I swear the same people have been working there since that time. Their selection of Christmas stuff is incredible — and this is from someone who used to be in the business of Christmas décor. It seems hard to believe that a small-town place like this would have such a wide variety of things to choose from! I will go back every year, no matter how long the lines are or how anachronistic the cashiers are. It’s not Christmas without Kraynak’s.

Well, we made it this time without the lines stretching out across the parking lot. It was our bi-annual visit, this time for Santa and Christmas Story Land. This years displays contained scenes from the Peanuts, Sesame Street and other various winter/animal scenes all with various color Christmas trees and ornaments. The last big Christmas scene is a beautiful display of a manger with the wise men and baby Jesus. Gives the reminder of what it’s all about. They also have basic special effects such as snow blowing or the animals moving. One of the displays was of a mechanical Santa in a rocking chair surrounded by gifts and elves. There was a recording of him as of he were talking to the kids as they walked by. The kids absolutely love it and my wife and I do to. Once through the displays, you follow the signs where you find Santa waiting in his chair. My kids told Santa what they wanted and when done, he gives they all smarties to munch on while we peruse the store. They love it! I have to mention that my 9-year old asked for a few items from Santa and then said«I also want my family to have a great Christmas» What a sweet boy… Now, we wait and will go back for Easter where the next review update will be done.

If you were a kid in the 1970’s and lived within 40 miles of Hermitage, PA, you know all about the Kraynak’s Christmas Lane. And if you have kids today, you gotta take them to see the trees. This was a yearly tradition for me and my sisters. Imagine a nursery in the winter in the north. Business prospects are a little meager. Solution; cash in on Christmas. Kraynak’s does it well with a long lane of artificial Christmas trees, fully decorated, in different themes. The decorations are well done. In addition, the store is converted into a Chinese Christmas decoration bazaar. They have loads of cheap ornaments, cheesy outdoor«scenes» and of course all the trees and decorations that they display in the Lane. It’s free and they’re open 9 – 9 daily, 10 – 5 on Sunday. The kids will eat up the visual overload, and if you’re in the market for an artificial tree, their prices are hard to beat. So, if you’re anywhere in the area around the holidays, hit this place with the kiddies. PS, if you’re hungry, Combine Brothers is just south on PA18, before you get to I-80.
