This is a very nice Kroger. I remember what it was like before they remodeled it. The new Kroger designs are modern and clean. The employees are nice and are helpful. The food is neatly organized and the store is bright.

I went in on crutches to get a few things for dinner. The meat department was very friendly and helpful as usual. When I got to the counter with my basket, a manager and another employee sacked my groceries and put them in a cart. The manager then walked away. The other employee started to bag the next person’s groceries. When she saw me trying to pick my bags up from the cart, she said, «Oh, we didn’t think you could carry those.» I replied with, «I’m not able to push a cart right now.» Needless to say, no one offered to help me out. If you want exceptional customer service every time, go up the street to Publix. Very disappointing.

I live in East Nashville and we don’t have a super Kroger in our neighborhood. When I walked into this one this morning, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The way it’s set up, the produce, the meat. the isles. Wow! The produce was fresh, there was ample meat selections, I found everything I went in for. This was a really nice experience. Everyone was helpful, nice, pleasant. The store was clean, didn’t have any odor and plenty of inventory.

Every employee says hello and the fresh meat and fish employees are very friendly like going to the whole foods market. This is my favorite grocery store since moving to Nashville because of the selection. This Kroger also has the most fresh fruits and vegetables in the area !

One of the better Krogers in the area. This one is near my home so we usually shop here when we don’t need a Costco run. The store is large & I think that it might be the headquarters for the Nashville chains because it seems to have a lot of office space above the grocery on the upper level. The store is usually busy, but they always have a lot of cashiers working so it doesn’t seem like a wait. They also have 6 self checkout systems to speed up the process. The have a sushi stand that offers free samples throughout the day, & also ready to go sushi rolls. The sushi is pretty good for the price. The store also has a full bakery, seafood & beef counter & deli with hot meals ready to go. They also have a olive bar & a salad bar.

Since the remodel, this is a great Kroger location for Deli, Meat department and Produce department. If you go Friday Through Sunday, the meat department has an upgraded fish selection and you can get some really nice fish. I have had Chilean sea bass, grouper, and alligator recently and that’s pretty neat for a novice cook like me. everything else is standard affair for a grocery store.

this is as close to a publix atmoshpere as you can get in a kroger/non-publix place. there’s an awesome deil area. they carry boars head meats and cheeses here. go to the far left side, it’s the most fabulous deli/fresh food/neat-o area.

Every time I go to this Kroger they always poorly bag my items. Like put meat in with vegetables, put cans in with my bread or chips, and three two liters in one bag. I mean i am a small girl that is hard to carry. The staff is not friendly. Maybe a couple of them have said thank you after I pay, and their produce selection of lettuce is always very low. I completely stopped going to their pharmacy because, since the remodel, they have messed up every single on of my prescriptions.

Thank goodness this Kroger is here. My house is sandwiched between two other Krogers, neither of which I will go to, but this one is much better. I never thought I would give a Kroger a four star review because I have been known to say some less than complimentary things about Kroger at times, but this location is an example of a company finally trying to keep up with the times and succeeding in many ways(although there’s always room for improvement). This Kroger has a salad bar(which isn’t that impressive, but I am glad it has one), but it also has a olive and mediterranean bar which is worth a visit. What’s annoying is that these two bars have separate prices, which tells me Kroger assumes I will either eat from one or the other and not both. Silly assumption, Kroger. The produce section is nice, and as is often not the case at other Krogers, well cared for. They don’t quite have the varied selection you’d find at Publix(no yucca root or boniatos), but you can do quite well even for unusual recipes. I love the 10 for 10 deals you can get on produce here. The natural section is my favorite, and I love that Kroger has brought out this new Simple Truth organic brand. It’s inexpensive and tasty, and covers a broad range of products l buy, like Tofu, veggie chips, soymilk, and they even have some Simple Truth meats. This Kroger is better stocked with that brand than most. I have to admit that Kroger having this brand is making me shop there more than any other reason. There’s also a nice seafood section — the people there are helpful and will even tell you the best days to come to buy certain fish. All in all, it’s not a bad shopping experience, and I am glad it’s here when I can’t go to Green Hills or the Farmers’ Market.

Very nice since the remodel. They always are pretty clean and have a good selection. The store feels open and easy to navigate since they completed the remodel.

I just moved here from AZ. The Kroger there(Fry’s) is far and above cleaner, better stocked and oddly friendlier. I can’t believe how rude the staff is at this Kroger. They don’t greet you, ask if you need anything or offer help out. The selection is average and I’ve only been there since it is convenient but I’m already looking for a better shopping option.

Fairly rude staff but great selection; especially in the bakery/deli area. The Kroger home style chicken soup is awesome!

Eh. I really don’t care for this location since its been remodeled. Yeah, it looks really nice and fancy, but It’s too big and basically I just don’t like change. It’s cool that they have sushi, but really, for $ 7 I’ll just buy a sushi roll at a restaurant, thank you. I also don’t like that the pharmacy drive through line is always super long. And the lane itself only holds about 3 cars. The rest of the cars in line are awkwardly jutting out into the parking lot. It really needs to have 2 drive through lanes. I’m giving it 3 stars because I really like Kroger in general and I’ve been going to this location for 15 years. But since the remodel I try to just go to the Brentwood location before I head home from work. It’s smaller, less crowded and easier to find decent parking there. *1 good bonus* free wifi in the eating area next to the deli

Up until recently I was satisfied if not happy with this Kroger as our grocery store. It had the advantage of being within a mile of home and they recently underwent a major renovation supposedly so they could add more/better produce and expand their deli and bakery selection. Unfortunately while everything looks newer it’s still the same low-quality produce at not great prices. While they did expand the deli we haven’t had much luck getting good service, most of the people who work here seem to shamble around like zombies. Tonight was the last straw for our family we purchased a rotisserie chicken but when we went to carve it up we found there were several large regions that were pink/red and cold to the touch. We took it back of course(putting off our dinner in the process) and while after much cajoling on our part they eventually agreed to give us a refund there was never an apology just an «Oh, that happens sometimes.» I would have appreciated at least an attempt at concern. From now on we’ll be going to the Publix on Lebanon rd or at Providence. The produce is streets ahead, the butchers and the deli are happy to answer questions and everyone is much nicer.

This Kroger has a good selection, especially with the new deli. The prices aren’t too bad either, especially considering their generics are almost always high quality. Also unlike the other Kroger nearby, this one seems to keep the shelves stocked so they’re never out of what I’m looking for. My main complaint with this Kroger is that the aisle signs aren’t done very well. They were bad before the remodel and are still bad now. It’s very hard to find a lot of things if you haven’t already memorized where they are. Also there are some products that they don’t carry, which I can find at Publix or Food Lion. Overall not a bad choice of grocery store, but not perfect.

This might be a first for me — giving Kroger five stars, but this location definitely deserves it! As my last review and a couple of others before me stated, they just finished some renovation and it’s on par with Publix now. Wider, nice aisles; more self-checkouts; great deli/sushi/prepared food area; and a bigger all-natural section. I work right across the street and will take my lunch break to coincide with their hot food hours. From 12 – 2 and 4 – 6(maybe til 7?) during the week, they have a great meat and 2 deal in the deli. It’s definitely worth checking out if you work or live in Hermitage.

This store is going through construction right now, so its seems dirty & lacking selection. Regardless of the fact that this Kroger is closer than the next one, I won’t be going to this particular store again.

No HEB but good for Tennessee. Dirty, with low quality produce at a whole foods price. Not a winning combination. Signing was incorrect for the isle for chips. Chip were one full side of a isle!!!

This store is okay if your looking for basic foods that wont go bad on you anytime soon. But their produce section is a HOTMESS. I’ve gone in there on quite a few occasions and have seen rotted fruits and veggies sitting out touching other foods. Nasty as hell. If I’m desperate I’ll go there but otherwise The Publix up on Lebanon has better produce.
