Zoom Moving Company

They told us the day before we we’re supposed to move that they would be here to move us between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. They then waited until 3:00 PM (while we were sitting on all of our packed boxes waiting for them to show up) to call saying that they couldn’t come until 7:00 PM and that they couldn’t even confirm if they could do that time for sure. So we we’re left high and dry to figure it out on our own. With moving being as stressful as it already is, having the moving company you hired not show up is the icing on the cake. I don’t know how good their moving service is because they never came to move us. I would recommend going with another company because these guys are obviously extremely unreliable and don’t stick to their reservations.
:UPDATE: The movers showed up the next day and were very kind and did a great job. Zoom gave us 10% off for the inconvenience, which helped some, but I will probably still never use this company again.

They moved us today and we are incredibly impressed! !! Rick and Ray were amazing! They moved us in a blink of an eye and never once slowed down. We’ll never ever do our own moving again. HIGHLY recommended!!!

Not really happy.
decided to use a local company and not a large francise.
appointments made with Lee, he was late, he should have planned better. Does not reflect well on customer service and order of importance.
With his movers — – there was missing or misplaced items that no one could account for.
Broken glass on picture frames.
No supervision.
no one checking on the job.
no follow up.
phone calls go unreturned.
when spending $ 1500.00 on a move and expect tipping onto of it.

Lee said since glass was missing he was going to replace. I recommended instead of paying for all new glass, that he call the clients after me to see if they have the glass tops. he said «You mean you want me to follow up and call all my other clients?»
Yes I DID! It would be less trouble for him and less expensive in the long run.
He reluctantly did and guess what… THE GLASS WAS DELIVERED TO MY DOOR… GEEEEEEE. WHAT A CONCEPT.
SHOULD HAVE KEPT HIS OTHER JOB, MOVING IS NOT HIS THING.

Zoom movers far exceeded my expectations. The crew was very professional and extremely effecient. The did the entire move in about half the time I had expected. They were also extremely careful with all furniture and worked very hard to make sure that nothing was damaged during the move. I would absolutely recommend Zoom Moving Co. to anyone moving in the Nashville /​Hermitage area.

If I could review them twice and add it up, I’d give these guys TEN stars. Hands down the friendliest, most professional, most conscientious movers I have ever had the pleasure to deal with … and I’ve done a lot of moving.
The Zoom Moving crew took the utmost care to protect from damage our belongings, the house we moved out of, and the house we moved into. These guys worked tirelessly all day long and into the night to make sure that everything was present and accounted for, in the right rooms, and in perfect condition.
When a moving crew even hands you the small screws that were used to hold a bookcase to a wall, after having worked their butts off for 8 hours straight, you suddenly realize just how close they pay attention to detail. TWO screws. The bookcase belongs to me and I’d have just thrown them in the trash, but they collected them up and handed them to me so that I wouldn’t have to scrounge for more later. You don’t find attention to detail like that most places.
Would I recommend them to you? Absolutely. This is a case of «Shut up and take my money!». You can’t hire better movers than this in Nashville.
