I have watched Arnil for years and he is consistently good with his clients. I recently switched from my hairdresser of 20 years to him and what an improvement! My friends who switched are getting continuous compliments. He listens to you and works to perfect what you want. That’s important. Also he is consistent which is hard to find in this industry! A great place to go when that last cut was a disaster.
He also is a full service salon, i.e. hair, makeup, photography, for your event.

Love Arnil! I took my son (12 years old) and he did an amazing job. Then, I decided to trust him with my daughter’s long hair and he knocked it out of the park again! That same day I made an appointment for my hair cut. It had been over two years since my last haircut. I walked out of the salon feeling confident and pretty! Love my new cut. Thanks Arnil, you rock!

I have been to about 10 salons in the south bay to find someone to do my blonde hair the way I want it… and I love AR SALON.
SUZY is the best! she does great icy blonde highlights. Sometimes it’s hard to find someone who can do the right blonde. but suzy is great. also very reasonably priced for the area!

I’ve been to many different salons over the past 10 years in the South Bay and I’ve finally found my forever salon:). I drive all the way from Studio City to get my hair done at AR Salon. They are AMAZING! Beautiful location with easy parking down in Hermosa Beach. I have super long hair and have had different salons take FOREVER to update my color, but AR Salon not only did it quick, but did a better job than places I have paid double the money at. They used an Olaplex mix in the hair color to help prevent any damage and I have never loved my color more! They also did a great cut to refresh my whole look, without changing it too much.
I met AR Salon when I was hosting a pageant and they did my red carpet hair and makeup. OMG ladies if you need great fancy hair and AMAZING makeup please go here! They are really a 1 stop shop. Thanks again! xoxox

Got the Brazilian blowout and walked out of there with my hair feeling amazingly soft. Just great customer service here. I even got free samples and all kinds of inscribed for my next visit. I will for sure be coming back!

Hands down the BEST hair salon I’ve been to. (And I’ve had many trials and errors)
I came into the salon very nervous because I live in San Diego and I had yet to find a reliable salon here in the South Bay. (I have artificial blonde hair which is very easy to mess up). The stylists there are super nice and accommodating right when you walk in.
They made sure that I did not leave the salon unhappy.
I needed a re-​application of color my roots because I washed my hair too early and Arnil was SUPER helpful! I came in two days later and he squeezed me into his schedule last minute. He is very friendly and professional and calmed me down from my anxiety attack I had that morning after I washed my hair.
He completely transformed my hair, leaving it more beautiful and healthy-​feeling than I thought was possible.
There is no question that I will make trips from San Diego to continuously come to this salon! I will always be coming back :)

Just got my haircut last minute by Suzy A. Didn’t even know she existed until I walked into AR Salon earlier unannounced. She literally gave me the best men’s haircut I’ve ever had in Hermosa Beach. After I hit the submit button on this review I’m going to get up off my ass and give her a standing ovation and then build a little shrine in the back of my apartment so I can worship her business card. Appointment day after Christmas at 10am with Madison! My 2nd time and sooo happy with outcome! I knew I needed a color (cover grays and roots, ugh!) and she told me her thoughts, I went with it! I found my new hair home for good!

I’m still going here and still love it!
Last week, I had my hair and makeup done and looked like a rockstar. Liz did my makeup and I just gave her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed the smokey eye and airbrushed look to perfection. And she’s so super sweet too!
