Great little candy store. I have a huge sweet tooth and buzz pop has everything I need in their store haha. If you like old school candies and the Haribo brand you need to visit this store.

Was just next door at Big Mike’s Subs(see my review), and have been wanting to visit Buzz Pop Candy Shop for a while too. Glad that they are right by each other! I am a huge retro and nostalgia fan, so this store was great for me to reminisce. I bought some salt water taffy and some Hi-Chew’s. They have old school sodas too, but I will come back to buy more stuff again. The owner seemed kinda quiet, as if he wasn’t too happy or something.

They had almost ever candy I could remember from my childhood. They have a great selection of licorice, too. Yum! It’s a little expense, but worth it. By the way, did you notice that all the reviews, besides mine, are by girls. I guess I should open up a candy store, if I want to meet girls. Yum, again! Brian

No, no chocolate for me… No siree! All I need me is some smarties, some sour smarties, and some violet candies(You know the ones in the purple foil wrapper). Yes, OH, Yes. I was the Fat Kid in the Candy Store. Scoured every inch of the brightly colored sweet tooth spot along Hermosa with my man and we hunted High and Low… shouting out«Hey, do you have this…», or «Hey, do you have that…». Definitely, this store will bring back some childhood obesity memories(well, at least for me it did). They had almost everything we could have asked for —- except for the Violet Crumble and English Licorice. :( Don’t just run through the store, take a walk back in time. Meander the aisles for your inner child. To the younger years. We all know we are kids at heart — and this place will definitely help take you there.

I like the vibe and I like the candy. MEXICAN real sugar Coca Cola in authentic always tastes better bottles… Biggest damn gummy bears I have ever seen. Candies I forgot existed and ones I’d never seen before. The only thing that would make it better is if there was one in Seattle where I live.

While it was great going into this candy store and looking around, it’s not a place i would recommend if you only have a few coins in your pocket. They do take credit card, which was helpful, but most of their candies are overpriced, even the ones that you can still find at the 99 cent store. and sorry, but the 99cent store’s candies are much more fresh than Buzz Pop Candy Shop’s. I bought an Abba Zabba and almost broke my teeth trying to eat it, I ended up getting one bite out of it and then throwing it away, it was inedible. The salt water taffy was good, but they did not have many flavors that one would expect them to have. The owners were very nice and a pleasure to speak with, but overall i was pretty disappointed with this retro candy shop.

I had a chance to check this place out during Fiesta Hermosa. Its a pretty cool store. Lots of different types of Taffy. And all kind of candies! They even have candy with worms or grasshoppers in them! There are also different types of sodas that they sell. Cute store.

Just like a kid in a candy store I’ll rot my teeth & go back for more At this brand new candy shop You’ll get a sugar high that just won’t stop Buzz Pop’s been open just two days A block from the beach, go cop some rays Their bottled root beer can be trusted On the sand, won’t get ya busted Also in bottles, they’ve got Green River Won’t give ya cirrhosis of the liver And Chuckles, good for a laugh, har har I’d rather be at Buzz Pop than in a bar I bought some gum, Beemans & Black Jack Surely gum won’t make me fat Congrats to Buzz Pop on its debut My pleasure to write their first review!
