Fran’s Hallmark Shop

I have been coming to Fran’s for many years for all of my card needs. They know the meaning of customer service and are always so helpful. They have a wide selection of cards and some really great gifts. I signed up for Hallmark rewards and every once in a while, I’ll get an e mail with a coupon. That’s a nice benefit. I don’t buy my cards anywhere else. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality cards and excellent customer service.

Yes, Yes, Yeeeeessss! This Hallmark is awesome! After having a worst experience ever at the South Bay Galleria hallmark (they sold off my ornament they said they would hold; which is limit edition, limited quantity… That I pre ordered back in July) I was eager to find a Hallmark that would be true to their word… Annnnd I found it at Fran’s Hallmark! Woot woot! This is a private (not corporate owned) store and it is def the place to get all your holiday ornaments. The owner and staff were very pleasant and extremely helpful. They were willing to go the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied with my experience.
I will be doing all of my holiday ornament shopping here! So glad I found this little gem.

When Arico’s Hallmark closed in Redondo Beach, I felt a real loss in having a local and friendly card/​gift store in my neighborhood. We have another Hallmark store located in the Southbay Galleria mall, however, I do not enjoy going to the mall unless I have to. Fran’s Hallmark isn’t too far from where I live and the staff who work there are really friendly. Even though I still miss Arico’s in Redondo Beach, I am glad to have Fran’s nearby.

Been coming to Fran’s since I moved down to Redondo in 2010. They have a huge selection of birthday cards as well as seasonal cards. And I love their choice of gift bags, wrapping paper and tissue paper.
Everyone is so friendly and helpful which gives it that small town feel. Nice change from our franchise oriented world.

Great store. My mom comes here often and the owner knows her by name. Very friendly. Always kept stocked on everything you need from cards to Christmas ornaments.

Jae, the owner, is so sweet and kind! This is the ideal business for her.
She and the staff are always working so hard to keep things fresh, stocked, and updated.
I have been shopping here since about 2000, or so. I will continue to shop here and always feel welcomed.

I come here a few times a year, and every time I do I’m always greeted with a very big smile. The lady that runs this place is such a gem! Very sweet! And she sometimes has beautiful organic lemons from her garden that she gives out to her customers.

Fran’s Hallmark has great customer service. They are very friendly and have customer service with a smile. I have gone to other stores and I find myself continuing to go back to Fran’s Hallmark store for the variety, stock of items and customer service. Fran and her associates will call you if you are looking for something or will special order if need be. I would recommend this store to my friends.

Always find the perfect card and gifts here. When I’m in a hurry they’ll even suggest a great gift bag and set it up for me in a few minutes!

Fran’s Hallmark is a great store. I buy cards from other places if I see something special, but I always come back to Fran’s.
(I really like the card selection at Bristol Farms on Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach as an alternative to Hallmark cards. I went to the Card De A in Manhattan Beach until it closed, but I still shopped at Fran’s as well. South Redondo is not convenient for me.)
I really like the location of Fran’s Hallmark. It’s in a sunny, open shopping center with a big parking lot. It’s near a large 24 hour grocery store, a bank etc. It’s easy to park near Fran’s and there’s usually a great breeze outside because it’s so close to the ocean.
But the main reason I’ve been coming back to Fran’s for 20 years is that the owner (Jay) really cares about her shop and her customers. (In case you’re wondering, she bought the store a long time ago from a man named «Fran» and never changed the name.)
It’s very well stocked with cards, gift wrap and small gift items. She always goes out of her way to help you find what you need. And she does a beautiful job of gift wrapping items you buy there, if you request it. I like to wrap my own presents, but she has often given me great suggestions for different ways to do the wrapping.
She has sales personnel, but she is in her shop almost every day to make sure things are running smoothly. She really cares about her customers. I’ve rarely seen an owner in other Hallmark stores where I’ve shopped. The clerks are usually polite, but I appreciate a store owner who is hands on, cheerful and goes the extra mile for her customers. For me, going to Fran’s is like going home.

I love this Hallmark store, mainly because of the very nice woman that runs the place, they also always have a great selection of everything!

I used to love this place, then found Card De A. But a good selection of standard Hallmark cards and some other humorous ones as well.
A good place to get the basics, and not have to hassle PCH to Hollywood Riviera.
