Laura Hooper Calligraphy

Laura’s work is amazing!!! I was looking for a local calligrapher and came across her website. She did a fabulous job and the turnaround time was great! I highly recommend her to anyone in the need of calligraphy!

We found Laura through WeddingWire, and we’re so glad that we did! We had her address our wedding invitations and they came out beautifully! We’ve already received lots of compliments and people can’t even believe that they were hand-​written. They are perfectly aligned and absolutely gorgeous! On top of that, Laura was so easy to work with. She always responded to my emails right away and finished our order quickly. Best money that we’ve spent so far… thanks Laura!

It is so refreshing to find someone who takes such meticulous interest in her work, and who goes to the next level to make sure that you are happy with the end product. I truly feel that the only way one can really deliver on such a sublime level, is if that person loves what they do, and understands the importance of what they are doing for someone else. Laura did the calligraphy on my wedding invitations, and not only were they perfect, but she was able to do it within a ridiculous short time frame, and made a few corrections that saved me time as well. I discovered Laura’s work on Style Me Pretty and have been obsessed ever since! I had been eyeing her custom maps for quite some time and decided they would make the perfect save the date card. Laura was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made the design process extremely easy and her turnaround time was amazing. She is very responsive and happy to answer any questions you may have.
My save the dates arrived this morning – beautifully wrapped I might add – and I couldn’t be happier. They are high quality and came exactly as pictured; I can’t wait to send them out!

SWOON! I loved, loved, loved working with Laura! We asked Laura to create one of her fabulous maps for our Save the Dates. They came out sooo adorable and exceeded our expectations! She responded to me almost instantly each time I emailed her. The whole process was very fast and I received my STD’s in only 2 weeks. Our guests loved them and many of the compliments we recieved were from guys! (Who says they don’t appreciate the details?!)
I loved my Save the Dates so much, that I contacted Laura to make my invitations as well! I met with her at her studio and we worked together to create my dream invites! She has the most beautiful calligraphy and I just couldn’t get enough of her. So, I also asked her to make a large dinner menu for our reception in her stunning calligraphy and some other little lable goodies for our OOT bags. Every single item I ordered with her came out better than I could have hoped! Laura’s work is awesome and is worth every penny! All of the pieces she made are definitely one of my favorite elements of our wedding! Thanks Laura we had so much fun working with you!

She is very responsive and a pleasure to work with — her turnaround time is incredible, and she truly wants you to be happy with the result. She drew a custom map of the coastal village in Greece where I am getting married. She will also be printing the map she drew on beach totes for our wedding guests! How much fun is that!?!
