Rockberry Acai Bowls & Smoothies

I think this truck is great! Their acai and pitaya blends are excellent. The reason my review is only 3 stars is because the fruits used in the abundant toppings are rarely fresh, but often thawed from a frozen state or seemingly canned. I hate canned pineapple or thawed gooey frozen fruit, ick, so even though I love these bowls I’m reminded each time of why I find this truck disappointing. I’m usually left with w bloated tummy, which is what happens when I eat too much fruit that has been canned. Among the fruits I’ve found to be consistently of poor texture and quality are: blueberries, pineapple, strawberries. It feels like I’m paying fresh organic prices for sub-​par fruit toppings. With a Hawaiian fusion vibe, I would expect to have fresh fruit on top of these delicious blends. I would love to see this business choose to source their fruit based on seasonal local items (aside from what they use in the frozen blended part of course — I don’t mean to be impractical).
On a positive note, I’m so happy to be getting more dragon fruit in my diet. This truck is regularly at my work, so I count on them to get that beautiful pitaya pink in my diet.

This truck is a blessing to the South Bay, such a delicious treat! Super healthy and a great substitution for lunch. I’ve tried almost all of the smoothies they have to offer and I have yet to be disappointed. My favorites right now are the Nut n honey and the lemon ginger bomb! Must try! The truck piled into the parking lot and i wad out there before the engine turned off! That’s how much i luv this truck. I have tried almost every smoothie and all are super delish. My fav tho has to be the lemon ginger bomb and boom boom berry. Give them a try and just like me Jamba Juice will be a distant memory.

Super excited there’s finally a healthy food truck option making the rounds at my job. Their smoothies just TASTE fresh picked, not like what you get from Jamba or Robeks. $ 5 for their «small» but that size is plenty. There is an extra charge if you pay with card so I suggest cash always. I wish it came to my office more than twice a week, but it’s probably for the best so I don’t go poor with this delicious truck LOL.

First time notice this rockberry truck bcuz it park very close to my car. Curiosity is my weakness and decide to give it a try. Randomly picked «epic bowl» becuz its name is epic…, so it suppose taste like its name. When the owner handing the bowl to me, i had doubt in my mind, cuz it looks like a giant sundae in a clear bowl with topping. I don’t like sundae and how sweet it taste at all. First bite of my Epic Bowl! WOW! Super! It totally flipped my idea about this bowl, it’s not sundae at all! Great and genuine fruity sweetness and scent! Underneath soft texture acai sorbet, layered with hemp granola and chunky banana, strawberry! Great epic! Full of flavor with texture! I became a fan of this bowl now!

These people are awesome that run this truck. They come by my work once a week and each time I can’t stay away. I MUST order something!!! The smoothies are awesome. Pretty much I told the guy to make me whatever is his fancy of the day. Sure enough, it was amazing. Highly recommended.

Definitely one of the best smoothies and bowls I have tried. I love the fact that they only use healthy ingredients and fresh fruits. Customer service is top-​notch and there’s always a good vibe around.

Forget the taco and burrito trucks, get healthy and look for the Rock Berry truck! I had the Lemon Ginger Bomb and it was truly an amazing smoothie. The staff is friendly and professional and extremely knowledgeable about health. I highly recommend this innovative business. Don’t hesitate and check them out when they come to a neighborhood near you!

Recently discovered these guys at one of my work sites. Definitely a first food truck of their kind. You usually hear of acai bowl/​smoothie places at brick and mortar shops, but not a truck (awesome thing). Xander and his crew always take care of me the 1 – 2 times a week I see them. Always with great recommendations, but then again, I don’t think there’s a wrong way to go since all of the items on their menu seem to be so delicious. Definitely worth checking out and enjoying.

This truck comes by my work every Friday and it’s awesome. The acai bowls are the best acai i’ve ever had and i’m not kidding. I’ve had acai from two other places and Rockberry’s stands out.

I’m a fan of the Rockberry Acai food truck! I just found out that they come to my job every Thursday afternoon and I’m PUMPED. Their fruit bowls are not only healthy for you, but they are DELICIOUS as well. They guys on the truck were extra friendly, too.

Finding out this truck is coming to my work WEEKLY? Indeed I’m the happiest camper! I can’t get enough of ROCKBERRY~ and now I have a reason to look foward to my Wednesdays now :)
Had the EPIC BOWL (as usual) and ordered the BLUE CRUSH for my midsnack, both were of course delicious.
Rockberry does everything right when it comes to fruit :) looking forward to what I’ll be ordering today!

Rockberry’s rockin’ truck was next to the Ragin Cajun truck today, and my smoothie was so refreshing after all that spicy food.
The sample of the Soul Surfer smoothie that they passed out was good, but we ended up splitting a Boom Boom Berry, which is raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, and banana. I think it has yogurt too. It was great. The person in front of us also ordered Boom Boom Berry, and when I picked up my smoothie, someone else was ordering it, too. It must be a popular flavor. It was sweeter than I’m used to, but I liked it anyway and would most likely order it again.

Ok. here’s my thing… if there are hot dudes on your truck, you automatically get an extra star! Whether you like the clean cut, sultry-​dark-​eyed type or the crazy-​friendly tattooed dude — there’s both! ((sigh))
So, moving on. Yes, this truck is awesome! Rockin’ music playing out of it’s ultra shiny and clean truck.
Bowls: Co-​worker had the «Epic Bowl» said it was a meal in itself and was completely «mind blowingly» good (yes, exact words). Bowls are blended fruit and then there are toppings like granola, fruit, coconut and honey. You can build your own or they’ve got some to choose from.
Smoothies: I’ve opted for these. I’ve had the Snapdragon (pitaya, pineapple juice, banana and n/​f yogurt) which has the most beautiful coloring! So bright and gorgeous! Taste-​wise, it’s pretty good too! I’ve also had the Soul Surfer (Acai, apple citrus, banana, strawberry & n/​f yogurt) so far, it’s my fave. Love it! Very refreshing. My manager (who is having THE worst day ever) had the Nut N’Honey (pnut butter, honey, almond milk & n/​f yogurt) she said it made her day… one sip and she was smiling and laughing at how happy it made her.
Friendly employees (and did I mention nice looking?), clean truck, rockin’ music!
Bowls are about 8 bucks, smoothies are $ 5 – 6.5… plus some other options (I’m having a pitaya bowl next time!)
Substitutions are welcome on ingredients.
I’m told that green smoothies are coming too… spinach, kale and other greens will be on the menu soon.

Rockberry came to my job today at Pacific Center and I was really hesitant to try it but I’am glad I did!
A truck that plays Reggae while you wait for you Acai or Pitaya whats not to like?
Anyways the girl that charged me & took my order was a big dingbat (sorry) she repeated everything wrong but my Pitaya smoothie was so delicious I seriously wanted another…
