Seaside Collision

My car was rear ended and experienced extensive frame damage. Since it was brand new, I was very worried it would never drive the same again after hearing and reading many horror stories. Seaside Collision did a great job and one cannot tell the difference when driving it at all! Plus the guys are really easy to work with and easy to get a hold of, definitely recommend it. Also they will drop you off at enterprise if you need a rental car.

I was rear ended in my 68 Camaro a few months ago and could not find a shop that wanted to work on a 45 year old car. I called 8 well known shops in the South Bay and all of them did not want to touch it. I found Seaside Collision and 3 others from referrals while calling around. I visited 4 other shops, one of them was 45 minutes away in Costa Mesa and super expensive, one was totally unprofessional, and one «no longer worked on old cars».
I was shocked to find Seaside Collision in Hermosa Beach, just a half mile from my house. They work on new AND old cars like my 68… and their lot was full of cars, a 60’s Jag, 2 GTO’s, a Chevelle wagon, and a new BMW 540i and VW Jetta. I was really happy to see all the old cars! After speaking with them I finally feel good about my repair. I have had this car for 25 years, since I was 15 so it’s kinda like family to me. J.R. at the shop seemed to realize this and was super friendly, he basically agreed to all of my requests and even helped me fight with the insurance company to get more money.
The shop is only a few guys but that’s what makes it so great, you get very personalized support and a combined 50 plus years of body work and paint knowledge, its their work and their reputation so they are more likely to do it right. JR’s brother Vic has amazing experience, he’s been working on cars since he was in high school back in the 70’s. Ask to see his old photos!

I feel so much better about my car finally. I can highly recommend this shop so far, especially if you have an old car.
