I am so excited to find Stacey in the south bay! For years I have been the quest to find someone who could tame the curly, slightly frizzy hair that until know has been the bane of my existence. I live in south Redondo, but had been driving to «curly girl» salons in Beverly Hills, culver city etc, most of the time being left with the dreaded «Christmas tree shape» as it grew out. I found Stacey on Unilocal and haven’t looked back. She gave me a long layered look with minimal upkeep. She is great with my color as well. Stacey is super chill, yet very professional. She will work with you to make your desired appointment time happen:). Parking is a breeze (free!) in the parking structure at salon republic. I have finally found my stylist:)

Stacey did an amazing job on my highlights and haircut! I have curly hair and she knew exactly how to make it look spectacular! The color she used for my highlights was amazing, i would highly recommend!

Stacey is by far the best hairstylist in the South Bay! I have never known a stylist that is amazing at both hair color and cutting and Stacey is!!! Her new hair studio is so nice. I love the colors, décor and ambiance. I am also a huge fan of the hair care line she uses, Unite. I love the fact that it’s natural and doesn’t contain any sodium laurel sulfate. My hair feels and looks so much healthier and fuller since using the products. I also appreciate that Stacey lets me bring my 5 month old baby with me to my appointments. She really goes above and beyond to accommodate her client’s every need!

I have been seeing Stacey for soooo long now. She is by far, the very best. She will make your appointment that fits in to «your schedule». She is so knowledgeable about coloring and cuts and even will make suggestions on what works best for your skin tone and your hair texture. She has become a dear friend and I am asked all the time who colors and cuts my hair. I carry her business cards with me at all times. You will absolutely love, love her!

Stacey is an absolutely outstanding stylist! Love her!!! I came into Stacey’s Salon with a head of crazy colors, damaged ends and brassiness from another salon. It was truly a hair disaster. It was a hard lesson for me but you truly get what you pay for and I was previously going to junior stylists from Groupon Deals (dumb). Stacey saved me! She analyzed the situation and completely fixed me up. I have very curly thick hair and Stacey truly knows how to handle us curly chicks. She is a color genius and gave me beautiful layers. She is also a very sweet and down to earth person. She is a great listener and did a remarkable job. She has many years of experience and there is no head of hair that she can’t handle. There are many stylists that have big egos, they like to talk non stop about themselves, let me tell you, Stacey is a breath of fresh air. Getting your hair done by Stacey is like hanging out with a girlfriend for a couple of hours. Conversation is so easy. She does not overbook or try to squeeze you in with other clients. Her full attention is just on you. You are not kept waiting. Her salon is located in the new Salon Republic located in Hermosa Beach. Tons of free parking. Her pricing is fair and competitive. I know it is so hard to figure out who your «go to stylist» is with so many options in the South Bay, you just can’t go wrong with Stacey.

Honest, Talented, The Best Hairstylist around. She will tell you the truth about your hair and let you know what you need. She will also listen to the colors, highlights, and cut you really want and advise you on what to do and how to style it. I have been going to Stacey for almost 10 years now and NO OTHER HAIRSTYLIST will touch my Hair! Her new place is adorable and well located.

I have challenging hair: it’s naturally curly, and it’s curlier on one side of my head than the other. After getting it cut dry elsewhere for years, and being largely unhappy, I decided to go to Stacey after seeing a cut she did for a friend who has straight hair.
Overall, she gave me a great cut, and was more than happy to do a follow-​up touch-​up to even out the two sides a bit. I will definitely be going back to Stacey, and am so happy to have found a local stylist who knows how to cut curly hair!

Oh, Stacey — you do it right every time. This time, we took my dark blonde long locks and cut them into a beautiful choppy bob with a light soft blonde color. After posting the pic of the new ‘do, the following transpired. Nuff said:

Me: Oh yes I did! Lol. I love getting my hair did.

Let me start off my review by saying that I couldn’t be happier with Stacey’s work. She was able to transform a botched haircut I received at another ‘salon’ in the area into a hairstyle once again. What stood out above all else for me, though, was Stacey’s honest, straightforward approach, caring personality and LISTENING SKILLS! Ultimately, had I just gave her creative license to fix the problems with my hair, she could have gotten the job done in lightning speed. Instead of rushing me or pushing me in a direction I didn’t want to go, she patiently allowed me to come to the conclusion that she probably had from the moment she set eyes on my hair. IT JUST NEEDS TO BE CUT CORRECTLY AND WE CAN REGROW FROM THERE. I’ve been to my fair share of hair salons in my 43 years on this planet, and I’ve seen more bad haircuts than good. Finding Stacey was truly a blessing! I never have to worry about someone screwing up my hair again as long as I am in Southern California. Thanks, Stacey, you really are a fantastic person and wonderful at what you do!

Stacey is absolutely fantastic!!! She has been styling my wife’s and my hair now for just about 10 years. We both are always very satisfied with Stacey’s work. Always consistently beautiful. Plus, she is so easy going and so willing to create what her client’s have in mind. My wife’s hair has always had a curl, but several month’s after she completed her chemo and radiation treatments following breast cancer, her hair straightened out. Without skipping a beat, Stacey adjusted how she styled my wife’s hair and made her ‘straight hair” beautiful. Now Marcia’s hair is starting to curl again, so we know Stacey will do another great transition style for her as well. My wife and I love Stacey not only as our hair stylist, but more importantly as a dear friend.

Stacey, Stacey, Stacey… !!! She has been doing my hair for 15 years, and always makes me look fab-​u-​lous ! Short, long, highlights, colors, updo’s… whatever it is that you want Stacey can DO IT ! Girls… even when you don’t know what to do with your hair, you’re bored with it. whatever. Just let Stacey fix your do … She will always come up with a style that will give you an uplift, she will make you look and feel
mah-​vel-​ous!

I’ve been going to Stacey for nearly 10 years now, and won’t go to anyone else. She’s done color, cuts and Brazilian Blowouts on me. She always knows what colors will compliment my skin tone best, and I am always happy when I leave her chair. I always feel beautiful once she’s finished her masterpiece with me!
Stacey is also a great person who listens to her clients. If she thinks a certain cut or color may not compliment my face, she will recommend something similar that will work better on me that I’m always happy with. If she doesn’t think I need a straightening treatment yet, she’ll tell me. She is not about the money, she focuses on her artistry of making people look their best.

Stacey has been doing my hair for the last 6 – 7 years. She always does a fantastic job with the color and the cuts are great, too! She has also been the only person to cut my two daughters’ hair. I highly recommend Stacey!

Stacey Rocks!!! I was in desperate need of a new hairstylist when I found Stacey six years ago. My hair has gotten healthier, stronger and longer since Stacey started doing her magic. She is not just a great stylist she is an amazing person that will listen and give advice when you are in her chair. I will drive for miles just to get my hair done by her. There’s no one like Stacey!!!

NO ONE has touched my hair in 7 yrs but Stacey! She always does my cuts & color just right EVERY TIME! My hair looked so good my hubby & daughter use her now, too. Simply the best!

I’ve been getting my hair colored for years and Stacey is one of the best. She really listens to what you want and how you want to look. I’ve been to serveral hairstylists in the past that were so pertentious not Stacey she is genuinely a sweet and thoughtful person.

Ok, so this isn’t something I usually review. In truth being a bit of a minimalist, I usually just take out the old Wahl trimmers and shave it down myself. But today I needed an extra special cut, as I am looking for new job and wanted a nicer style. I am so happy I came in to see Stacey. I never really thought much about the difference of a good cut, but I can honestly say it really helps with confidence and over all well being. It may be that she is gifted with the shears and adds a bit of magic in with the mix. Whatever it is, I now understand why my wife has always insisted on seeing Stacey for her style and color needs (besides the fact that Stacey always made her look more beautiful).
It had been a while since I had been in, but in looking over some old photos was trying to figure out why I looked so much better in my wedding photo. Then I realized it was the hair! Since going in today, I can truly see my old self again in the mirror. Stacey Barnum rocks! And I do know that everyone I have ever referred to her is always happy to return. Also, I know from my wife’s experiences, as well as friends, that she is also magical when it comes to color.
