I was so surprised with my wonderful lunch, I haven’t tried it as I had been disappointed by the last restaurants that was there.
Six of us went and had great service we ordered an appetizer Pepperjack corn dip with chips it was so good and plenty of it. I ordered the Reuben I’m always on the hunt for a great Reuben and it was here. Super good will be back for more of that. Everybody was happy in our party. No room for dessert.
Restaurant was nice and clean and service was great. The music wasn’t loud so we could talk hate when it’s loud and can’t have conversation.
Keep up the good work we need a good place to have great food in Hernando

We came to town and had heard about AC’s steakhouse. Even though it was highly recommended, it surpassed expectations. The appetizers were good and generous portions. We had a steak and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. We rounded out with the fried cheese cake and flourless chocolate cake. Yum! The service was friendly… The owner came out and checked on the table. I wish we had an AC’s in Florida. You have quiet a gem in Hernando… A big thumbs up for AC’s. And did I mention we thought it was very reasonably priced.

The food is your typical bar food with variety of menu. I’ve enjoyed everything the dozen times I’ve been there in the last year and I’ve tried several of the appetizers and several dinner items. I’ve been there with a party of four several times and a party of 6 a couple of times. Everyone has enjoyed their meal and never heard any complaints. The price is appropriate for the quality both being four star rating. In its category of bar food and casual dining experience it gets top marks, but its not a five star fine dining establishment in my book but definitely worth what you pay for.

Been there twice, food was just ok both times. Staff was very nice, however. Unfortunately there is really not much to the «pub» part. It could be a great alternative to the only other nightlife place on the square with a little attention. They seem happy being more of a «restaurant…» but it’s not really a great steak place. We blast back up to Southaven our down to Como for steaks.

New menu much better choices. Give them a try again. I prefer the ambiance of this restaurant versus windy city grill any day.
Good sports channel selection. Good wait staff. Suggest they maybe hire a musical choice (guitar or piano) on a Friday. Might add a nice touch.

I suppose that my wife and I were there when they were having a not so good night. Our appetizer (pepper jack corn dip) was ok but nothing special. Our salads tasted as if they had just escaped from a bag off of a Kroger shelf. Our steaks were genuinely tasteless. No joke — — I don’t know how they removed the flavor from a perfectly cooked filet mignon, but it was truly tasteless. Our check came to $ 75 — a bit on the pricey side for dinner for two. However, had the meal been up to par we wouldn’t have given it a second thought. I suppose that there was a good reason that we enjoyed immediate seating at 7:30 on a Saturday evening — — the restaurant was barely half full. I read the other reviews before posting and saw where several others have had a much different experience than ours. I truly hope that we just stumbled in on the wrong night.

A+ customer service and huge portions! Haven’t had a bad meal yet from there. You can tell the staff is glad to be there. Perfect atmosphere for either enjoying the game or a great night out with your loved one.

Back again for another wonderful meal. Caesar salad, filet and another incredible baked potato. By my standard, the steaks tend to be about a half degree undercooked, so an order of medium gets my perfect mid-​rare+.
Actually saved room for dessert and was disappointed by the carrot cake which was obviously a frozen food service product. The hidden gem in the dessert was the strawberry and whipped cream accompaniment. It’s late in the season but a piece of sponge cake would have resulted in a top notch strawberry shortcake.

SO Happy to have them here in Hernando!!! We have enjoyed eating here several times now and have found the food to be overall pretty good. The service has been good as well. My wife had a small issue that we advised a manager of (nothing major) and she promptly addressed it to our satisfaction. Burgers and Fries are great and portions are quite large. I will be going here regularly!

Good atmosphere and plenty of seating in the bar and the dining room. The staff was great and our waitress, Julie was polite and attentive. We ordered the fried mozzarella, and it was amazing! The breading had a little kick, but not so much that you couldn’t enjoy the cheese or the really fresh marinara. I had the sirloin, and it was very well prepared and grilled perfectly. After dinner we decided to try the apple pie, and it also didn’t disappoint. The only reason I didn’t give this a perfect score was because there wasn’t a lot of steak on the menu for a steakhouse. If there were a few more meat options, this place would perfect and I could see us becoming regulars! Definitely worth a try, and we’ll worth the drive down for you Memphians.
