We have been here several times over the years but this past year at the 4th of July 2015. The farm is so nice! They have upgraded a lot and moved the pony rides. They have lots to do. Petting zoo, zip line, play ground & so much more. The food is good and its a great environment.

Cedar Hill Farm is in Hernando, Mississippi, which is not too far to go to have the kind of fun you’ll have here. The kids will enjoy a petting zoo, pony rides and large play areas, not to mention the Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze every fall. There’s also a fishing pond, volleyball nets, and paintball fields. Halloween brings the Trail of Terror and the Haunted Hayride, of which I will have no part. Those of you that aren’t scared, be my guest. Bwa ha ha ha ha.

This is my favorite place to go for all seasons with my family. It’s a working farm that offers a petting zoo, pony rides, hayrides, fishing, volleyball, horseshoes, paintball, a restaurant and lot’s of seasonal activities. In the Fall for they have lot’s of fun activities. They sell pumpkins, gourds and mums all at wholesale prices. Last year we got a huge wagon full of fall decorations for under $ 50.00. It’s worth the drive alone to get some great fall items for really cheap. You can definitely spend the day here for $ 8.00 you get: Entry into the Farm, a Hayride out to the Pumpkin Patch,(Pumpkins not Included), the Corn Maize, the Petting Zoo, the Chicken Show, the Education Station, the Pig Races(you have to see it to appreciate it!), Cedar Hill Rail Road, the Hay Fort, the Hay Maze, fishing in the catch and release pond(bring your own poles and bait and use of the Play and Picnic Areas. Fall hours are listed below: September 27th — October 31st Monday — Friday 9:00a.m. — 2:00p.m. Saturdays 10:00a.m. — 5:00p.m. Sundays 12:00p.m. — 5:00p.m. At night they have a haunted hayride, trail of terror and private campfires. I plan to have my son’s 12th birthday party here around the campfire and the haunted hayride– perfect for tweens! Christmas on the farm brings a tree farm where you can pick and cut down your own Christmas tree and Easter is filled with egg hunts. They also have a good restaurant and snack area. We had the best homemade potato chips last year– they cut and fry them while you wait, so yummy. I’ve written a lot about Cedar Hill and could keep going, it; really is a great place to spend time with your family or with a group. They have facilities for groups and I’ve seen lot’s of birthday parties and corporate group outings going on while I have been there. Fall is my favorite season and I can’t wait to load up the SUV and head that way soon!
