McDonald’s

My experience here was good compared to the other reviews. It may have been the time of day or possibly since the other reviews they may have hired all new staff. During my visit it was 5:45pm on Monday and there were on a few customers in the place. I ordered decaf coffee, nuggets and fries. The fries were fresh and hot. The server even told me that she would make a new pot of coffee which was oh so good! I was very pleased with my visit and hope it is due to the improvements made via the past reviews. Thank you.

I went here again due to my grand daughter’s request of Happy Meals. It was a Sunday afternoon and me and one other person were in line at the drive-​thru. I ordered two kid meals and a grilled chicken salad. They hand me the kids meals and ask me to move up for my salad. I sat 15 minutes exactly waiting for a salad that never came. I had to park and get two toddlers out and enter the restaurant. When I entered I saw 10 or so people working behind the counters doing various things and one was pointing outside where I had been sitting waiting. They had my salad. I asked for a manager and the young lady behind the counter never said a word she left to get the manager. I asked for my money back and produced the receipt showing the time of order to prove how long I had been waiting. It took the lady a few moments before any apology was given. She didn’t act with any concern period! This is the WORST McDonald’s I have unfortunately encountered anywhere in the country. They remodeled the place and added a second drive-​thru but the service is still pathetic. They need TRAINING DESPERATELY.

I wish I could give negative 3 stars! I know, this is a McDonalds, and none of them are usually worthy of a review. But this one in Hernando is so ridiculously bad. I have NEVER had an order come out right here. The people taking the orders in the drive thru act brain dead. They can never comprehend anything and it takes forever just to place an order. Once you get your food double check things cause I guarantee you they have messed up something. Then when you tell them the order is wrong they don’t move with any sense of urgency to fix it. Every employee at this McDonalds should probably be fired and fresh staff be brought in. The regional manager in charge of this location should probably step in cause it’s obvious local management can’t do their job if they’ve let it get this bad.

I realize McDonalds is not really a place worthy of a favorable review, but the one in Hernando, MS needs severe help. The employees are slow both physically and mentally, the layout is horrendous, and the «food» is not good. It needs to been torn down and rebuilt with a better floor plan, all employees from the top down need to be replaced, and the menu needs to be improved. McDonalds might have been ok many, many years ago, but not any more. I really don’t like to eat at such places due to cleanliness, fake food, and more, but sometimes you have to have something to eat, even if it will kill you…
