Caterings From the Soul

I like this spot, and is convenient since I work in the building. I too like other reviewers have felt as though I am more of a nuisance when I order my food. I still stop by close to once a week to grab lunch, but only due to the convenience factor. There is not much room to eat in so I end up taking it back to the office and eating at my desk. As far as the menu goes, there are some good options that you won’t find in most delis, so it is good to change the pace up every once in a while.

I was happy to find this place because there are not a lot of soul food places in the area. And even though the food was just ok I ate here 2 or 3 times a week during lunch. I recently had to stop going because the owners attitude and service left a lot to be desired. Which was very surprising as she is a God fearing church going woman but I was treated as if my presense was a nuisance. I think she gets fluttered when it gets busy during lunch but that should be seen as a good thing and she should do better to not alienate her customers. I have started to take my lunch money elsewhere like Williard’s BBQ or Dave’s Seafood and subs. It’s a shame I cannot support this minority restaurant but I don’t support businesses that do not appreciate my business.
