I scheduled an estimate w/​Preston about a week in advance and then called him the day before to confirm. He said his car was in the shop and that there was a possibility that he would not get it back in time to do our estimate, so he said he would call me by the end of the day to confirm. Well, I didn’t get a call from him so I assumed we were still on for the estimate. We hadn’t closed on the house yet so we had to make an appointment with our realtor to meet with us at the house and let us in to do estimates with contractors. 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment, I finally call Preston. Got through after 3 tries and he tells me that his car wasn’t ready and he wouldn’t be able to make it. I asked him why he didn’t call to let me know and he didn’t have a good answer. Waste of time for me, my husband, and our realtor. Safe to say that we won’t be going with this guy for our flooring work.

Two thumbs up! Our hardwood floors were buckling so I called Flooring America for an expert’s opinion on what’s going on. Someone was sent to our house 3 hours later. Scott was very experienced and knowledgeable. He’s friendly and honest. He explained to us what’s wrong and that high air humidity was the main culprit on the damaged floors. Scott was even willing to go an extra mile and share his professional opinion with our landlord. I will use them again and will recommend the company to my friends.
