Superior customer service. Our hospice company recommended them to help take care of my wife who has terminal cancer. They are Beyond caring. They call and check and if we need something immediately such as pain medications they’re here. I don’t normally review these type stores, but I feel like I just need to sing their praises wherever possible. Thank you and God bless Herndon Pharmacy.

Walked in the door looking for a compression sock. The owner came out, measured me, found the right fit and sock!!! I was told if they didn’t have what I needed they would get it for me. Fortunately there was no need. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Outstanding service!

This is a great pharmacy. Everyone is always very friendly, they are competent, I’ve never waited long at all, their prices are pretty good, etc. I only go elsewhere if I’m out of town.

I have only had great experiences here. They are helpful in regards to coordinating with my insurance and they called me to update me on my prescriptions as well. They also have a great courier service if it is inconvenient for you to return for pick-​up. Would definitely recommend!

OMG, it’s the middle of flu and cold season and you only have 1 pharmacist and 1 person assisting AND doing cashier??? Pay for some more employees!

This place was reccomended to me by a very prestigious doctor for a medicine that had to be «compounded,» which is apparently a rare thing for pharmacies to do, especially in this area.
Since then, I now bring all my prescriptions here and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Johnny, the lead pharmacist, and all his coworkers are fast, friendly, and kind, and I’m constantly surprised by how sharp, attentive, and caring they all are.
They also participate on the iPledge program, which, if you live in the area, you know that Giant is the only other option, and it’s no contest. After finding myself getting the run around and being treated rudely at nearly every pharmacy in the area, i am so happy i found Herndon Pharmacy where they treat me like a human being, or wait, even better, a paying customer.

A gem! Old time pharmacy feel with terrific service. Johnny, the manager, manages to find drugs that nobody else has, like a flu med recently that was sold out during the winter’s bad flu season. He also will set up a reorder to make sure he’s got recurring prescriptions on hand even when nobody else can keep them in stock. Filling scripts is super fast and convenient. CVS could learn a thing or two from Herndon Pharmacy.
