He’s been my doctor for around 20 years, he has kept me healthy and I appreciate the fact that he listens and gives good diagnoses and sound advice!

Dr. Plescia always listens, always gives a good, accurate diagnosis, and always explains why he’s prescribing whatever treatment he decides on, which has always been right for me. And he’s always friendly. What more could a patient ask for?

I actually think Dr. Plescia is a great GP. He was recommended by several co-workers and I have been happy every visit. Which is good, because I find picking doctors one of the most annoying things in the world. There is no info out there unless they have botched something or pulled a lawsuit. To start of with, he is good listener and and a good explainer(which is better than a good decider). I don’t feel rushed, he understands my questions, and he takes more than enough time to explain the answers to me. I got a hearing test from him last week(I checked out ok, i guess I survived all those rock concerts after all), and after I asked him about the results. He took the time to show and explain every item in the result. He really seems to enjoy teaching. At a practical level, his office makes things easy. He is happy to recommend specialists or prescribe drugs(double bonus :). They host a lab collection spot on the premise(one stop shopping). And have same day appointments if you call at 8am in the morning(for your urgent swine flu) needs. As an aside, he was listed as one of the top GPs by other doctors in last year’s Washingtonian mag. But what do doctors know?
