Popeyes

Popeyes is simply the best fried chicken there is, and my one visit to this location is just as good as anywhere else. Great chicken, amazing mashed potatoes and gravy, perfect biscuits, and great fountain drinks with refills. People have complained about the service here, but actually the only reason I’m writing a review for Popeyes is because of how pleased I was with my service today. Very friendly helpful people that made my day.

Love that chicken, but the service here is just horrible. They frequently mess up my order and are quite apologetic about it. Unfortunately, this one is the closest to where I live.

Ordered six piece chicken wings promotional special at 11:30am. Unfortunate that I did not open the box until I returned to my office. These were not chicken wings… more like sparrow sized wings. Even worse, way over cooked… actually crunchy. I suspect these baby wings were from the evening before and were simply reheated for the morning lunch crowd. I would definitely not recommend this franchise location.

Management here is terrible. I came in christmas eve one night couple years ago a half hour before they were supposed to close but they already locked their doors and I waited for someone to open the door which the manager did. I go inside and order food and it’s free for some reason so after I go and order food I sit down to eat and the manager tells me I have to leave and I tell him everyone else is still here sitting down and he said thats because they ordered before they closed. That’s not my fault and all he was like is he’s sorry. Screw this place.

Drive-​through staff is incapable of getting orders right. Before you drive away, check your bag. Unfortunately, you can’t check a family member’s order to see if it’s spicy or mild — which they have gotten wrong all the time. So you roll the dice on that one.
Also ordered box of five tenders with BBQ sauce … No BBQ sauce, and only four tenders provided. I only see kids in the window of this location, btw. Would be nice to put some adults in charge here.

One of the best customer service I have ever received! They all just seemed so happy to be there! Food was good too! :)

Chicken is good; although I prefer KFC. Like pizza places, Popeye’s is really way too expensive for what you get. Service-​wise, everything was fine.

This is hands down the cleanest fast food place I have ever been… Food was pretty good, service was pretty good.

One of the cleaner Popeyes around but like others have said the staff seems challenged at the register. I ordered a three piece tender and the cashier had trouble ringing it up? Like it is the first time really?
Got a side of cole slaw with no utensil to eat it? No napkins, asked other patron for one. These little things see so easy to fix but by reading other reviews it is not about to change.

I just must weigh in on this one, there appears to be some bad history here, but I think it has long been cleaned up.
Clean, staff is friendly, and food is made frequently in small batches. I see them really hustling to get orders out and respect people’s short lunch breaks, and mis-​orders are addressed politely from my observations. I do think they work really hard at earning people’s business.
Chicken is crisp, not greasy. They do quite the business, and the line is to the door ant 12 noon, while there are a ton of places to eat around. Compared to most fast food, this location stands tall to others in the area.
I just can not give 5 stars to fast food, no matter how good a value it is however.

Got my food fast. Spicy chicken so good! They forgot to give me my biscuit though, and since I got drive thru, I was a little sad.

Chicken was room temperature in the middle while the outside was over fried. Clearly, it was pre-​prepped and refried to bring the temperature back up. TERRIBLE. I took a bite and got a putrid temperature combination of hot on the outside and almost on the cold side in the middle. Fries were chewy and had been out for a while. About as satisfying as throwing leftovers in the microwave and not having everything warmed up thoroughly. Clearly, this is not what I expect when purchasing fried chicken from a fried chicken establishment. When I took everything back, the manager looked perplexed saying the chicken was just cooked (she should have just fessed up and said it was just reheated) and asked for me to wait 15 minutes. No thanks. You have one shot at it. No need to spend another 15 minutes of my life waiting for subpar food.
Whats worse is I then went over to the Popeyes in Reston and ended up with the same problem. My roommate (not a picky eater) was with me and confirmed that the temperature was a problem.

The food is good enough… it is the employee (s) that leave much to be desired. Blanca is consistently rude and does not act like she even wants to assist customers. I have been there a handful of times and when she is there, she is the rudest person. This time I looked at her nametag to see who she was. Her apparel makes her look like a manager but if so, they made a terrible choice. You say thank you, she ignores you…

This is the cleanest Popeyes in the area. The workers are very quick and efficient. The only downside is that they don’t have the 2-​piece dinners like the other Herndon location.

Sorry Jaime L. had a terrible service experience but mine was rather pleasant. You can smell the boiling grease miles away and it brings a smile to my face to taste this deliciousness.
I’ve yet to have bad experience and the chicken is always hot during lunch hours.

So, today my friend, her sister and I were in the mood for chicken so we made a quick pit stop at the local Popeyes. We had gotten to the cashier when, just after I ordered, the cashier looked at me stupidly then turned around, talking to his coworkers. He continued to have a casual conversation for a good two minutes or so, then turned to one of his employees and asked for help with the computer because he didn’t feel like ringing us up. Wow, what a waste of MY time. When we started ordering, the cashier wasn’t paying much attention and didn’t even look at us as we ordered. Once she was done ringing us up, she refused to give me my receipt and walked away. I was bothered by her rudeness, and my friend and her sister were aggravated because the woman didn’t give them cups for their drinks. Once our food was ready, I noticed they didn’t give us my friend’s food. I mentioned this and the server promptly mentioned how we didn’t order anything and that we were lying. I got offended, and so did the few customers around us, because they had heard my friend order. The server asked us for the receipt to back this claim up, and I mentioned how she refused to give me one. They laughed at me and forced me to pay AGAIN for her meal. They took a very long time to give us her food, and practically threw the bag down at us once they were done. I got aggravated and mentioned how rude this was, and they continued to laugh at us!
Do NOT visit this Popeyes, they do not deserve anybody’s service or money because they are far too rude for any business atmosphere.
Oh yeah, the fries were stale.
