I have been visiting Barbara for Brazilian’s for over a year and she does a great job. She instantly makes you feel comfortable and she works fast. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I’ve been seeing Barbara for about a year for facials. It’s not an overstatement to say that she’s amazing. My skin was very red before seeing her, a byproduct of acne medications and overexfoliation (as well as some internal issues), but now it’s much more calm and clear. I used to be a product whore, buying face stuff because it promised me X and Y, but now I only use the product line Barbara uses (Osmosis), and it’s so nice to know what works! Personality-​wise, Barbara is kind, thoughtful, and a great listener. She wants to know your skin challenges and wants to meet your needs, even if they’re different every time. Her prices are quite reasonable, too. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my skin. Plus, she’s always taking classes and boning up on new techniques to improve her practice.

I am a huge fan of the facials here. Barbara has done facials for me for nearly 5 years. When I met her my skin was oily and acne prone. Now my skin is clear and I rarely have any breakouts. She has managed to do what no dermatologist could for me. She is a godsend!

I moved to NoVA from NY almost 2 years ago and dreaded having to leave my esthetician who I had been with for over 5 years. Actually tried to figure out how I could justify going back to NY every 6 weeks just to see her! And then I found Barbara and she has been doing my facials and waxing since. She’s fabulous. She has made great recommendations for improving my skincare régime and is a wiz at Brazilian waxing. Anyone who gets a Brazilian regularly knows that all waxing jobs are NOT the same. Same thing with facials. Even my dad notices when I’ve gotten a facial with Barbara and it will be three days later! I highly recommend her.

I go to Quintessence for the best Brazilian bikini wax ever. Barbara is by far the best and most professional esthetician I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I’ve been to several different salons for waxing and I’ve always had a bad experience. I’ve been burned, bruised, and battered. In some instances I learned the salon was using recycled wax. A Brazilian bikini wax with Barbara will take 10 – 15 minutes and you won’t even realize it’s been done. She has a very calm and nurturing demeanor. I really can’t say enough. Thank you Barbara!
