Found this local company on Unilocal and wanted to support locally. They do not disappoint !
Having just purchased a (circa 1900) home in Old Town, I was anxious to install professional closets once the addition had been put on.
I am showing my age because I am now excited about my new Toto wall mounted toilets, my LeGrande Adorn wall plates & switches… and now… the best… custom closets!
Barbara Bruno designed three closets for me: new master BR, old master BR and new laundry room. Having a small house in Old Town Alexandria, I wasn’t able to have the luxury of the dream master closet with a sitting area or place to hold my jewels (that’s a joke). I did, however, have a mini chandelier hung in the master bedroom closet though!
She stayed in touch throughout the process and even came over to see the finished closets a couple hours after the installers left.
The pricing was within my budget and Barbara offered numerous options. Cool 3D rendering allowed me to see what my closets would look like.
The installers, Dylan and Kenny… outstanding. So professional and knowledgeable.
I can only dream about what they could do with a garage (which I don’t have) or a mudroom (which I don’t have either).
Everything about this process was outstanding; too bad my contractor can’t take lessons from Tailored Living!

Amazing Master Bedroom Walk-​In! I was referred to Tailored Living through a friend who knows Todd. I worked mainly with Martha but also had interactions with Todd and his wife Juliana. Everything is top-​notch with this company. Martha was thorough and provided a wonderful 3D rendering of the design to help us visualize the result. That was key in my opinion. The workers on installation day were friendly and clean. Martha even unexpectedly stopped by at the end of the day to check on the everything. Really professional touch and clear that she cared about the outcome. Will definitely use Tailored Living for all future custom closet and storage improvements.
