What an awesome find! Saw them at the Hershey craft show and just had to go to theit shop as well. It was so good as a local to find this place I pass by nearly everyday, but we never went into. Not only GREAT chocolate and BETTER than Hershey(anyday), but Earl and Millie are the nicest people in the world. We not only found a great place for candy, but I think we found some long time friends as well. So many businesses these days just do not care about a customer after the sell and it is so apparent that they are passionate about what they do best —- making awesome candy and being people friendly!

Yes, the tour is quite long for the size of the place, which is just two small rooms of a house. I enjoyed talking to the proprietor(oldish lady) but the actual chocolates and brittle are not really better than average. I felt like I should buy something so I did, but wont go back. No reason to. One can make brittle at home just as good after some practice, and even many of the chocolates. However I did enjoy supporting a family business as they are all on the way out.

Go ready to talk! Or be talked to. The proprietress will give you the full history of their candy dating back to the early 1900’s. But they make their own brittle from an old family recipe and dip and mold chocolate there. It’s worth a stop if you’ve got the time.
