Park Avenue Salon and Spa

I have tried other spas in the area and this, by far, is one of the best. I had a facial with Kelly and she was amazing. She took her time from beginning to end to make sure that I was comfortable and that my results would be wonderful. It was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the facial included a massage of the lower legs, shoulders, and arms. It was well worth the price and I will be going back!

This place is a high quality one stop shop!!! I got a great haircut comparable to cuts I’ve had in philly and NYC. This also is the only place I will get waxed in the area. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating, as well. 5 stars!!!

Went here with my mom for manicures and pedicures and had a great time and great service. Both of us are very picky and we we’re really happy with what our services and the price was reasonable. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside, clean and nicely decorated, but not upscale. They use their own line of products which were really nice. I’ll be back.

Three of us took my mom here after Christmas for a massage, and between us got a facial, body wrap and manicure, too. Great experience. I had a facial; it was lovely and very relaxing and my mom loved her Sticks and Stones massage. The only reason I’m giving four instead of five stars is we had a bit of a wait. We weren’t annoyed, as we weren’t in a hurry, and the staff were very friendly and lovely conversationalists, but had we been on a schedule it could have been a problem. Even so, we absolutely will be back; we had a great time!
For what it’s worth, I like the gratuity being added to the bill; it’s nice not having to worry about bringing the right amount of cash with me.

VERY IMPRESSIVE!
I had been recommended by a friend; she told me to ask for Lisa and she was wonderful! My consult was great and it was only my first visit. They use Aveda products, which are fabulous. They don’t happen to carry the Aveda Shampoo & Conditioner that I use so I asked Lisa what she recommended instead and she told me she would put an order in for it so they would get it with their next shipment.
I went back 3 weeks after my 1^st trip for waxing. Penny was incredible. She knows a lot about skin care and took the time to walk me through what she was doing. She gave me pointers on how to minimize in-​grown hairs and how to take care of my skin.
They are full service salon and the prices are VERY reasonable!
The other awesome thing about the salon is that they serve water, coffee, tea and WINE with your services.
I know some people don’t like the 20% gratuity that’s automatically added to your bill and the last reviewer said it doesn’t make people work. I disagree. I think it sets an expectation for the employees.
Since initially writing this review, Lisa has left and I now see Lindsey. Lindsey is great and spunky and takes her time doing your hair even if she is a little behind. I appreciate that.
