The place has seriously gone downhill since it’s conception over 4 years ago. I used to LOVE coming in to talk to the staff and have a great soup. No longer the case. * There are Sriracha and various unknown stains up and down the walls, not to mention the need for a new paint job and floor repair * Strange aroma emanating when you walk in * So many flies! * Lack of friendly or attentive wait staff * Soup is not flavourful. Very bland and needing a lot of sauces to make up for it

Went there for the first time. It was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The hot coffee could put starbucks out of business. The prices were right in line with other places we eat. The service was great. There when you need him not when you don’t. We will definitely be back

Went to get some summer rolls on my lunch break. .awesome summer rolls they aren’t the easiest to find either… most places only sell the fried rolls… pork is the best!

Great Vietnamese food. Ordered the phở and the taste was quite good! Just less than 10 min drive from Hershey park. Wonderful place to go after a day eating nothing but salads and burgers…

I was visiting from Ohio and I have a good sense of quality when judging ethnic food because I am 100% Vietnamese. I can tell that the food was fresh with a good variety and the service was friendly with a family type atmosphere. My son had chicken fried rice that was light and tasty, not too salty. My 6 year old had chicken phở which was made fresh in the store(some places use seasoning packets to make broth, but not phở miss Saigon). I had lemongrass tofu and goi coun, both were among the best I have had, certainly better than anything in Ohio. We will definitely go back during this trip. Highly recommended!

Very good, fast and, affordable food. came here with a friend and they greeted and seated me swiftly. Got full course with appetizer for under $ 40 bucks. A good spot to visit after Leaving a day of Touring Hersey Park. its conveniently located down the road

I’ve been here a few times. I used to love this place. Good food. Good service. However, I was there a few days ago and. sorry to say, your place has fallen from my graces… because of all those flies buzzing around! It wasn’t just one or two, not a «few»… I’m talking dozens! And just think… this means there was once a bunch of maggots crawling all around in the establishment. Yuck! Bad luck? Maybe. I’m giving two stars instead of one because the people there are nice and the food is good.

God forbid they have anything in this town that is not American or BBQ. Miss Saigon speaks for itself: — A small restaurant with an almost tropical feel to it. The Phở is actually good. The base taste good, it doesn’t need a lot of Hoisin or Siracha. — The staff are very friendly. I do not understand why people give it less than 3-stars, unless they are picky Phở enthusiasts. It is not the best restaurant(definitely not by Philly or NY standards), but it beats eating at the Cracker Barrel. Also, the price is fair. Compared to the restaurants in Philly, the price is about the same. If you cannot afford it, then consider getting a high-paying job.

How do people give it above 3-Star for their Phở? Seriously? My friend and I went there and both of us are big Phở fan. We have tried just about every Phở place in greater Harrisburg area. This is by far the WORST Phở. The establishment looks nice but the taste of the broth is almost NON-EXISTENT. I am not kidding. My friend had to add a lot of hoisin sauce. I am fine with«light taste» soup base but there’s barely any taste and the portion is just so-so.

Overall a 4 star. Meat in the special phở was good. Broth needed a little more flavor and no fish saunce st table which could have compensated. Nice staff and decent prices.

Good menu, plenty of options. A little on the pricey side in my opinion. I’ve always gotten the vermicelli noodles and have been satisfied. The iced coffee is delicious :) Accept cash and credit. Private parking lot on side.

Phở is not to my tastes but the establishment was nice. I have never had phở before. I am a fan of authentic ramen, other broth based dishes, and I love a variety of Asian cuisines but this dish was on the disappointing side for me. The establishment wasn’t very busy for a 1pm on a Saturday but I’m thinking this is off season for them. They had many delicious sounding dishes; I wish I knew more about what I ordered, I would have asked for something different, but hot soup sounded wonderful on this cold day. The prices weren’t too bad. Their phos were about $ 6 – 8 depending on size and style while their vermicelli dishes were about $ 10 – 13.Our waiter was decent: he got the job done. He wasn’t personable, in fact he barely spoke, but he was effective and got to the point of serving us. My brother was the one to suggest this dish to me and I expected to love it, but it contained my single most hated flavor: cilantro. I don’t mind a hint of cilantro in certain dishes, such as guacamole, but this dishes was bathing in it. If I had known, I would have chosen differently, but I’m still glad I tried it. It was a neat experience. I ordered the phở with the round eye steak and well done brisket. For those who are unsure of what phở(pronounced F-uh) is, it is a broth based soup with vermicelli(clear) noodles, meat, and toppings to let steep such as fresh cilantro, scallions, jalapeño, lime juice, basil(which tastes like fennel) and bean sprouts. All are ingredients I enjoy… except for cilantro. If you can taste past the cilantro, the broth was nice, the meat was flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The meat was shaved fairly thin and there wasn’t a significant amount of it, but it was still tasty. Also, if both the round eye and the brisket was there, I could not tell the difference. When it comes to making the dish, apparently what they do is put the noodles and raw meat in the bowl and then add the steaming hot broth which cooks the meat as it’s freshly served. Very unique. You also had the option of siracha and hoisin sauce for even more flavor. The hoisin I enjoyed on my meat quite a bit. The small size for $ 7 was perfect for me. I couldn’t imagine getting a large even though it was only $ 1 more. Overall, I enjoyed the experience with good company but if I was to go back here I would try something more my style and without cilantro.

They have the best grilled pork dishes. Any item that has grilled pork in it is exceptional. We ordered #1 and #6 for appetizer(grilled pork summer roll and pork egg roll). For entrees we had grilled pork with vermicelli and beef phö noodles. Everything was very delicious and we got the grilled pork summer roll for dessert ;) we will definitely recommend this restaurant for Vietnamese food.

I come here every now and then when I’m in the area for reasons other than my ridiculously long shifts at work. The phở is almost always on point. The summer rolls are yummy. The vermicelli is also very good, but it’s a little more pricey than vermicelli at other Vietnamese spots I’ve been to. I really don’t have much to complain about except they don’t usually accept cards for orders under $ 10. If you don’t have cash on hand though, they’ll probably be nice about it and swipe your card anyway. If this happens though, you should be a little more generous with your tip. There’s no reason not to be though because they’re all super friendly! Oh yeah the other thing that sucks is the awkward parking lot that is difficult to turn left out of.

This joint serves delicious Vietnamese food near Hershey park. Albeit a hole in the wall, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered the Grilled pork with Vermicelli, one of the Phở noodle bowls, and an ice coffee. The grilled pork vermicelli was awesome and the Phở was great. No complaints here. There was one waitress serving 5 tables and she was friendly and attentive, compared to the bad service I received at another restaurant– the server only 2 tables. Go there and get your Phở on. You won’t be dissapointed or find a better value in the area. The only thing I wish they had was Bhan Mi.

Who would have thunk that a bastion of delicious Vietnamese cuisine would exist in the bucolic hills and verdant valleys of Chocoville USA? Well I sure did not but I am so glad I am now enlightened! The L. and I made a stop for lunch recently and were so glad we deviated off the I-81 to do so. Phở Miss Saigon is perched atop an embankment in an unexpected round building that contrary to another review does allow for handicapped access. We were greeted by a very sweet and welcoming young lady. Being that we were the first customers of the day(for once!) we had our choice of anywhere to sit so we chose one of their tables against the wall overlooking the traffic on E. Chocolate Ave., The Hershey Highway. We quickly spied in our menus their vegetarian section, Các Món An Chay. We kind of had our hearts set on their Phở( ) but there was not a veggie friendly version which was OK and akin, I suppose, to asking for spaghetti and meatballs and not having a vegetarian meatballs. I get it is just not really meant to be that way. Some places do have veggie Phở but happily there were several choices for us which long story short made us forget all about what we lacked. Of course we had the Summer Rolls, not the most delicate of finger foods… ;))) Usually the are cut in half but since they were not we took this as a sign to use our hands. Good thing the restie was chock full of soap. And good thing there were not any other diners at the time seeing us laugh hysterically over their rather, ahem, flaccid state. I had the Stir fried tofu with green veggies, carrots in a light brown sauce and rice(Dau Hù Xào Rau Cai) which was so plentiful and filling I ended up taking about half of it home for dinner. The L. had their Lemongrass Tofu with Rice(Dau Hù Xào Xà Ot) which was Out of This World. I would return just for an order of that to have there and one to go. It does not look like much as it had no veggie adornments but it was full of flavor and the texture was spot on. Highly recommend. Our server, I assume it is a family run business, was as pleasant as can be, just a real nice person and she helped to make the meal so enjoyable. The food ended up traveling better than we did. We enjoyed our leftovers a second time that day for dinner. I guess it goes to show, you never know what you might find if you trust your Unilocal findings and take the time to go a little bit off your beaten path. Sigh. One of the best if not the best ever. Get it???

I normally wouldn’t trek so far to have some Vietnamese food but a friend of mine was telling me about a place in Hershey. So, I looked on here and found the address of this location. My wife, my friend and I ate lunch here one Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t very crowded when we first arrived but shortly after the dining room filled up. It is a unique set up in that the wait station is located right in the center of the dining room and the dining room is set up in a circle. We all tried the summer and spring rolls as well as the phở. The summer rolls were fresh and tasty. The herbs and greens used in them gave it a nice clean taste. The spring rolls were just ok to me in that they seemed a little over cooked but other than that they were good. The phở was good and came with your usual plate of greens, herbs, limes and jalapenos. I liked broth, it was clean and flavorful with a the right amount of fragrance. I have been to places where the fragrance is so strong that the smell of phở will stick with you for hours after. This place however, didn’t leave me smelling like a big bowl of phở. The only thing I didn’t really like was the fact that I felt that my phở noodles were cooked a little too long so they were a little too soft for my liking. Despite this, I did enjoy the phở. Thank you for reading my review. This is based off of my personal experience and opinion.
