Fantastic lunch after learning all about hershey! The Dutch sandwich and the turkey cranberry panini were tasty! Staff is very friendly.

This review isn’t about the food(sadly, I did not get to try any), but the really awesome service I experienced here. I was in Hershey for a few days to do some shopping and relaxing, and ran into some trouble trying to get home. AKA, I went to start my car so I could get to work(which of course started in two hours), and nothing. I had a 45 minute trip home and needed some help, quickly! I walked from the garage I was parked in over to the café and asked the girl working if she knew of anyone who could jump my car. She was very busy and I hated to bother her, but she as well as a second woman went out of their way to help me. The second woman left the café to try to find a maintenance worker who could help me out. When she learned that maintenance was gone for the day, she gave me the number for a service station down the street, and assured me that they would take care of me. They did! I’m kicking myself for not getting the names of these two wonderful employees because they pretty much saved me. I’m not car savvy in the slightest, and with the stress of needing to get to work I was definitely frustrated! Bottom line, if you want to eat somewhere with outstanding staff who will go out of their way to assist both customers and random strangers, stop here. The place was packed so I’m sure the food is great as well. Thank you both again!

I don’t normally buy pastries and lattes, but after going through the Hershey Story museum, I couldn’t help but have a sweet tooth. The café is found outside the Chocolate Lab on the first floor of the museum. A good spot to grab a snack before or after your museum tour. It also serves soups and sandwiches. Seems like the drinks here use Peet’s Coffee products. Got a medium Mayan chocolate latte for about $ 4.50 after tax. Pretty standard price for a special latte. As for taste, the chocolate isn’t overly sweet. You can taste the hints of cayenne and other spices, but they’re balanced, not overwhelming the taste. Also got the Lancaster caramel cookie bite. It comes out cold so I’d wait a few minutes to let the caramel warm up and the cookie soften. It’s so good! Surprisingly, the caramel isn’t too sweet either. The cookie is dotted with chocolate chips! My sweet tooth is satisfied.
