Take note that the pictures posted for this location are outdated; this location has since been renovated and updated. This is just the coolest Wendy’s ever and I normally wouldn’t deem it necessary to review such a well-know fast food joint but this particular store has got style. Maybe I’m just a sucker for large televisions and fireplaces and Coke Freestyle machines, idk. But yeah after an exciting but tiring day at Hershey Park, nothing goes better with a Son of Baconator like a Vanilla Coke and being able to watch the news whilst sitting on a couch by a fireplace.

Terrible experience yesterday. Under staffing was evident and under training too. No one was wearing gloves a small they were handling the food with bare hands. They were so disorganized they had to stop taking orders. Customers had to leave.

We were on the road the whole morning, and needed to stop somewhere to eat without spending an arm and a leg. We saw Wendy’s. Since this is one of those restaurants that we stop by on a rare occasion, we decided to dine here. Here we go. We went in during lunchtime on Saturday and the line wasn’t very long. The person who took our order had an «ok» attitude. We didn’t wait too long for our order to come through. Once we got everything, we proceeded to take a seat. My family and I shared a Strawberry Fields Chicken Salad. This consisted of strawberries, blue cheese pieces, mini strips of bacon, sunflower seeds, and lettuce. Of course we can’t forget about the sliced chicken breast that was placed on top for the patron to mix-in. Now this was freshness at it’s finest. My mom had the Home-Style Chicken Sandwich, which was topped off with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. She liked it. My dad and I had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The only difference between this and the other sandwich was that it contained a favorable blend of spices and seasoning that resulted in a spicy taste sensation. It was good, and not overwhelmingly spicy! I ordered a small combo to go along with my sandwich. My small fries tasted fresh and the sea salt enhanced the taste. This was satisfying. I also got to use the Coca Cola Freestyle Machine for my small soda. I was able to create a mix of Vanilla Coke, Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, and Vanilla Root Beer. That tasted great; you should try this mix sometime. :P I take away two stars because of the restrooms. They were filthy, and it looked like the ants on the floor were having a dance party. Overall, this location is okay. It serves the purpose of serving fast food to the hungry patrons. But those restrooms really need to be cleaned up!

If you are in a rush do not stop here. My daughter and I stopped here at 3pm on a Friday and they were slightly busy. The two cashiers behind the counter were so slow it was painful to watch. We must have waited in line about 30 minutes for a medium drink, two cheeseburgers and medium fries. You would have better service going across the parking lot to red robin.

We decided to stop at Wendys after shopping at the outlets for quick lunch to take home. We went inside because the drive thru line was long. It’s an older Wendys that needs a very good cleaning at the least. We ordered a couple different things and a 20 piece spicy chicken nuggets, but the employee tried to give us regular chicken nuggets. When we reminded him that we ordered spicy chicken nuggets the employee went to get us the right chicken nuggets only to return with 14 spicy chicken nuggets because that’s all they had left. We left a little disappointed because it took so long to get our order. We got home ready to eat our food only to realize that they didn’t give us a medium fry. How hard is it to remember a medium fry when we asked not once, but twice if we had everything we ordered?

Please clean the lobby. Hiring a few more staff members and a competent restaurant manager would also likely go a long way. Wish this wasn’t one of the only options in the area, because man, was it terrible!

Went in around 12:30 to get something to eat. I just moved into my apartment and my kitchen is still being done so it’s hard for me to cook or keep too much food on hand. Going out that late is a chore and I debated it for 2 hours before I decided I needed to get something because my sugars were low. I’ve been there before and got okay service. Nothing too bad or too good. However tonight, 30 minutes before close, they failed. I was hesitant to go there because I knew they were closing soon but since they are close to the park I thought they would have better service this time at night. I was wrong. The woman who took my order was clearly in a poor mood. She was short and rude. My food was horrible not even edible. I took one bite and had to throw it out. A waste of my time and my money. Shame on me for thinking a fast food place would have good food and service. However I thought I would share so no one else will try to make a late night trip there.

Worst service for a semi large group of all time. If I could give negative stars I would. I’m writing this as we wait they made us order meal by meal and eat by ourselves. It has taken over 15 minuets and running to ORDER this manager is a moron

Late night in the Hershey area is fairly tough for food simply because there’s not exactly a cornucopia of choices to begin with and what choices there are seem to follow the unwritten rule of Pennsyltucky which states that all eating establishments must close by or before 10pm. This is why places like Wendy’s are able to survive in PA in such quantity. I’ve never been inside to experience the décor but the drive thru staff have never screwed me over with any egregious errors so I guess based on the reviews I faired better than most. The salads may be soggy, it make take you twenty minutes for a potato the same as it took us last Saturday and the burgers burnt beyond recognition but at least you will be fed. (Bob H’s review is a classic!)

If you want gourmet food, this is the place to go. Burgers are cooked to perfection, salads are medium rare, and the drinks have a nice, smokey flavor. My only complaint is my frosty was a bit overcooked. I loved the A+ décor all around the restaurant. Though it is a tad pricey, it is definitely worth it. Overall, I think the food is amazing. But the wait staff was not very attentive.

Pretty much like any other fast food restaurant in Pennsylvania. Good luck getting your order packed correctly, and you can almost always expect the fries to be overcooked. You’d have better luck going next door to Turkey hill and grabbing a fountain drink, a bag of chips, and one of their sandwiches on the warmer. At least if your order is wrong YOU made it wrong. This state is shitty, and the people are a prime example of that. Expect similar experiences anywhere you go in this state.

I would give this Wendy’s zero stars if possible. I pulled into the lot for a quick meal after a long day at work. I did not even venture in because of what I observed outside. 2 employees were running through the drive thru lane, and then proceeded to CRAWLINTOTHERESTAURANTTHROUGHTHEDRIVETHRUWINDOW!!! Although I am sure that these knuckleheads went inside, washed up, and then proceeded to sanitize everything that there dirty shoes, which were outside where there is spit, bird crap, oil, dirt and many other contaminants, touched, I chose to PASS on this place, and will not be returning.

OMG! When Hershey Park closes at 10PM, everybody heads out for much-needed food. We, too, followed the masses(and thus the massive lines at the drive thru and eat-in.). Got the usual suspects — a vew dollar-value menu items, a chicken sandwich for the kiddo. A boring side salad for me(Soggy lettuce and 2 tiny tomatoes and carrots. Whoopie!). At 10:30PM(and thoroughly sick of park food) it was a needed stop. Friendly teen-aged cashiers — but they were overwhelmed by the swarm.

I love, love, love that there is a Wendy’s one street light away from Hershey Park & Chocolate World. My husband and I will always stop here after our long drive, before we do anything in Hershey’s. Its so much more affordable! Last time we came here a few weeks ago, I discovered their spicy chicken nuggets. They had a special for 99cents for five pieces. YUM!!! I tried it, and I was HOOKED! I swear I could eat those spicy chicken nuggets for days… They’re perfectly seasoned, that they taste like spicy fried chicken minus the grease and bones! Nomnomnomnom! :) So good its Unilocal-fast-food-review-worthy! So I come back down to DC, and the next day I’m craving them spicy chicken nuggets. WOw. So I make a pit stop to pick up Wendy’s in Falls Church, VA, on the way to dropping off my doggie to the vet… and to my surprise, they don’t have spicy chicken nuggets there. :(Maybe its a promo item they’re trying out at that Wendy’s. Either way, Wendy’s needs to make that a permanent item on the menu because Wendy’s spicy chicken nuggets+baked potato+frosty will EASILY make Wendy’s my favorite fast food place of all times. Note: This location always seems to have very daring flies that will hover in your face and food free of charge. :(Food is still good and fresh here though! :) I miss you spicy chicken nuggets :]
