Great work, quick service, reasonable prices. It’s hard to find a business of this type in the HD!

I’ve had boots resoled, shoes resoled, and new zippers on one pair of boots. I’ve had several shines done here as well. The work is always top notch. I’ve never had a problem with any work they’ve done, and they do a wonderful shine. I frankly don’t know if they’re rude or not. I go in, handle business, then go on with my life. They aren’t that friendly, but I haven’t noticed overt rudeness. All things considered, I don’t really care… I’m getting shoes worked on, not searching for a BFF. I’m taking a star off because of price. I debated myself about that, but frankly, they charge nearly twice what I used to pay in LA. That’s insane, and leaves me feeling gouged. It works against them too. As others have said, the place is deserted. In the end, they’re only making a couple extra bucks off me, because I always tipped my old guy generously. If he wasn’t 90 miles away, I’d still go to him. In fact, I will, when I’m ready to have my leather jacket worked on. I’ll not be bringing it here. If I had time, I’d go down the hill, but then, so would a lot of folks I’m sure. If you find yourself down there on a regular basis, you should probably shop around. So this place in convenient, they do good work, and they’re prompt… and you won’t have to wait in line.

So I took my boots for a zipper repair and the guy did such a great job … The prices are reasonable … My boots s zippers were broken and he actually not only fixed it but I chose to seal it to prevent any more issues and the finally product was amazing … I will be bringing my heels next for repair. Highly recommend this place for all shoe repair needs. Don’t let the bad reviews blind you. Is def good service.

Hard to write this review. My shoes were at the shop but I wasn’t. Repaired item: Sperry Top Sider(flip flops but not flippy or floppy) Repair time: 1 week The piece of leather between the toes was cut in two. Got the shoes back tonight and at first glance I can see that one of them is mangled. It looks melted. Apparently you pay when you drop your shoes off at this business and not when you pick up your item. So the shoes were mangled and the full price is paid. The cobbler said«there was a problem with the saw». What? And we still paid full price plus tax? The shoes don’t feel the same. There are dents around where the repair was made and they are uncomforable and fit much tighter. Price was $ 40. That is a shocker. Brand new are $ 50. He should have just said he couldn’t do it. UGH. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — – UPDATE — I finally wore them walking around the house and yard today and the repair came apart. I didn’t get them wet or muddy or dirty, just walking around on dry ground. I didn’t trip and pull on them or anything strange. I thought it was a chance for me to give this company another chance to make things right and add stars so I phoned this business. He said«the warrantly is 30 days» and then he HUNGUPONME. Note — I can’t wear flip flops to my work and these were repaired during winter so it is makes sense that they weren’t worn for a few months(minus trying them on). Plus they were uncomfortable now and who wants to wear that! Wow! He acused me of lying to him right before he hung up on me. I would never go back to this guy for anything. He is rude in addition to Incompetent. I see the other review say he does good work so it is strange how he treated my husband in person and me on the phone. Maybe he can’t admit when he flubs up a job or he can’t admit when he shouldn’t accept to do a job? If it isn’t his thing then it isn’t but to accept the work and do a bad job and still charge a customer. Why? He could have had a customer for life.

Arrogant owner, doesn’t stand behind his work! Over priced! Simple repair of a button on a leather saddle bag, used a half dozen time and the snap broke.

For $ 11 bucks I got the heel taps replaced on my favorite pair of shoes. Turn around time was quick. On the day of pickup(two days later), owner was ultra professional and said«let me know what you think before you leave.» I couldn’t be happier. Ladies, take your shoes here… period.

This is without a doubt one of my favorite small businesses of all time. Service is always amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. They’ve always been extremely accommodating in the past if I’ve ever needed a rush on a repair, even though the turnaround is very quick on repairs as it is. Every repair I’ve ever had done has been A+ work.

I have a pair of Danskos that I had purchased in October. With my level of clumsiness I managed to scuff the toes repeatedly from doors, tripping over myself, even dust it with chalk. I also stepped in gum and that really pissed me off. Two months. At least the shoes were comfortable. This morning I hopped out of my car and… good grief. Button’s leather fell out. So my left shoe had a shiny metal cap and the other a black leather cap. I taught my first class of the day shuffling my feet under tables and such. Embarrassing. Before my next class I Googled shoe repair and get these guys. Called in advance. Asked for quote. They told me I had to go buy buttons elsewhere. That was good to know. $ 1.75 for silver buttons that won’t chip off from a Joann’s close by. I dropped the shoes in, asked for button replacement and a shoe shine. These guys were polite and willing to work within a 30 minute schedule because I had to rush to my next class. That was cool. I went next door to eat supper and returned to shiny shoes, like new. Now they’re customized! And to be honest… I think I took more time figuring what buttons to use than for them to put them on and shine my shoes.
