I was involved in a major traffic accident a little over 20 years ago. Over time the injuries I sustained become very painful. I suffer from neck and low back pain and CRPS in my right hand that was causing it to deform. I heard about High Desert Rolfing for the first time about 1 month ago from a friend. I have tried meds, physical therapy, chiropractors, you name it. Those treatments offered a slight relief from the pain in my neck and low back, but never in my hand. The pain spread to my legs and feet and affected the way I walked and one of my hips appeared to be higher than the other. Yes I have been to many Dr. s and they all said the only thing I could do was take medication and learn to live with the pain or have surgery, but there was no guarantee I would get better. After hearing my friend rave about the treatment and how much it helped her, I thought«what have I got to lose» so I called and made an appointment, not expecting much. Well, I have to say that after the first treatment my hips were actually in line(the right hip was no longer higher than the left), I experienced immediate relief from my neck pain(I had large knots in both shoulders that never went away) and for the first time in years, I did not have a headache! My low back felt much better and the pain in my legs and feet felt better too. I was expecting it to all come back in a few days, but to my surprise it just kept inproving. The deformity(Trigger finger) I was experiencing in my hand has greatly improved and most of the swelling on the top of my hand is gone. The second visit completely worked out the leg and foot pain. I was over compensating with my right foot and started walking on the outer part of that foot. The treatment helped me walk on my whole foot as opposed to the outer portion of it giving me better balance and relieving a great deal of pain in my low back, feet and legs. I feel like a new person and I am pretty much pain free, breath better, stand taller and am looking forward to the next treatment. A big thank you to the friend who recommended Kim and Guillermo(Memo), and a million thank yous to Memo. I have and will continue to recommend High Desert Rolfing to my family and friends.
