If you are looking for a great fade, taper, or any dope haircut come to Newby’s and see Brandon. He knows what he is doing, and takes his time. I live in Orange County, and drive the hour and half to get my haircut by him. I don’t mind waiting because I know I’m going to leave looking fresh.

if i could give a no star review i would this was my first time here some white lady didnt even cut my sons hair because he was latin she made up the excuse he looked like he jad a loe in his hair immediatley i said ut was ok got him off the chair she started disenfecting everything from her chair made my son feel awful never coming here again

PARENTS BEWARE! Not a place for young children. Took my 20 month old in for a haircut and we were treated horribly. People were taken before us and as barbers became available they coincidently had to go on their lunch break. One even sat on his chair and played with his phone. I suppose one lady did finally get stuck with us. I asked her if my son could sit on my lap that he would do better and she insisted he sit on the seat by himself stating that he was a big boy and it was me who needed to feel better. After he started screaming I insisted that he sit on my lap and she ignored me and continued to wrestle with him. I finally picked him up as sat him on my lap. She then said fine your gonna get full of hair. I did ask her for a robe earlier but was ignored. Then she told my son that he had me all trained. I will never come back here again. I suggest paying the extra money for a kids salon with more patience. I came here for a haircut not to me mocked on my parenting. Shame on you newbys!

Took my husband and son for haircuts and after walking into the barber shop with NO acknowledgement I should have known something was wrong. After about 20 min of watching the barbers I knew which one I wanted to cut my husbands hair (Arrora) but had no choice for my son to get his done by a Hispanic man (didn’t catch his name) my sons haircut was done in about 7 minutes and lines were all over the place even Arrora tried to fix them but it was beyond fixable. My husbands haircut was great but hard part was but what he was looking for. Still looking for «the one» who can give a good haircut! The great thing was I didn’t feel upset for paying $ 19 for both haircuts! Great prices!

My sons haircut came out good. I was happy overall especially with the price $ 9 so it was good. I just think the lady could have been a little more friendly.

Awesome barbershop, very quick never a long wait! !! I have been coming here for the last 4 or 5 years! I’m here every 2 weeks like clockwork!!! Oh BTW I am hella picky about my flat top! Joe cuts an awesome flat top!

Took my 3 year old son to get a haircut here. I warned the older White lady barber that he cries and if she could handle it. She said «Sure.» Well the haircut came out not as expected. I asked her if she could fade the back of his head because it look like he had a mullet. She stated she was afraid she would mess it up because he was crying too much. I left that barbershop disappointed. I’m sure she could have had another barber fix his hair so I would be satisfied.
Anyways I gave the 3 stars and $ 6 tip because I knew she did the best she could. Unfortunately, I more than likely will not return due to her lack of finishing the job…

Never a bad experience at newby’s. Great barbers here, professional service. Aurora gives the best fades in town. Been to many if the other barber shops in hesperia, but have become a regular at newby’s!

Best haircut my son’s ever had! I wish I would have gotten the lady’s name but from what I’ve heard they are all good. Fast and have great precision. I’m a cosmetologist so I know what I’m talking about.

I have been taking my sons and husband to this shop for 13 years. Always a positive experience. I have never left unsatisfied with the cut or service!

Ended up at Newby’s because it was a Sunday and my son was 1 year past due on a haircut. Turns out there is only one kid’s cuts place and it is in Apple Valley, so i ended up at Newby’s, because they were the only barber open on Sunday. It was crowded and I immediately thought it was going to be a long wait, but my son was taken immediately. This was my very first «boy» haircut, so I told the man what I had in mind, and he did a wonderful job! My son cried for a little bit, but he was given a sucker, and all was good! Loved my experience so much, that I just took my son back for his second haircut. The same man was there; his name is Joe and I think he is the owner, but I’m not 100% sure. This time my son took it like a champ, and was promptly handed a candy! We are fans of Newby’s.

I am a pretty picky person when it comes to a consistent, professional haircut. I also want to get in and get out without a lot of chit chat. I am actually willing to pay a higher price than normal to get this kind of service. I was a little reluctant to try out Newby’s because it looked a little sketchy from the street view but the Unilocal ratings convinced me to give it a try.
The inside was what you would expect in a typical, clean barber shop. Lynn sat me down and with minimal instruction from me, she got right to work… with minimal chit chat! In less than 15 minutes I had exactly the haircut I have been trying to get for the last 5 years from my previous hair stylist. And the price was crazy reasonable… $ 10!
Other than staying open a little later than 5:00 pm, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Newby’s, I will be back for as long as I live in the area!

I won’t go here again unless I have to. I have a beard and they mindlessly just cut off my side burns, don’t even think that they should ask you how you want your own hair cut, leave long strands of hair all over your head. They should be charging 6 – 7 dollars for this type of hair cut with no tip. I have to go home and fix what they left undone. I have had my hair cut by 5 different barbers here and of the 5, 4 have left my hair cut sloppy when I walk out.

This is a REAL barbershop! No salon amenities here. Barbers are always friendly and the quality of the cuts is always top notch. Chest place for a cut in Hesperia.

Been coming here for years. Good local and typical barbershop. My son received first haircut here and grew a friendship with barber. Anne is by far a professional
