From all the reviews I was excited to try this place out. I ordered the classic Philly steak sub combo with fry and drink. Fries were good and I cant complain about the drink. I feel that the sub was lacking in flavor and the bread was soggy. I was very disappointed in my first visit to this restaurant. I may have came a at bad but who knows. Try it for yourself, I will not be returning here.

This place has very delicious sandwiches. This was my family first time here and I can guarantee this will not be our last. The hot wings and onion rings are delicious. The manger working the counter was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Thank you for this amazing experience.

Our family’s favorite place for Philly cheese steak sandwiches. I also love the turkey club sandwich. Everything is fresh and great tasting. The owners are genuine and attentive.

Best Philly cheese steak I’ve had, everything here is really good, check this place out people it’s very clean and the owner is very nice we had zucchini sticks, onion rings, fries and buffalo wings and buffalo children sub and everything is fresh and delicious. Oh and there is parking in the back so if you pass up the s drive way from Bear Valley you can turn on Cottonwood.

Update: this time, I got the standard cheesesteak, rather than chicken and I was not a fan. Being a native from Philly, I am quite critical, but this was simply not the same thing as a Philly cheesesteak. I will still go back for the chicken cheesesteaks, but I’ll stick with chicken.

I LOVE a great Philly cheesesteak sandwich! Unfortunately it is nearly impossible to find a really good(or real) one in these parts. This little shop is pretty typical of the«Philly» cheesesteak places that you’ll find in Southern California. It isn’t that they are bad, they just aren’t authentic. First and foremost the meat is different. Instead of the super-thin sliced steak that is scraped into pieces while cooking on the grill, the meat here is a chopped meat that has a chunkier texture. They also don’t have quite the level of cheesiness and the seasoning of the meat is different. Having said that, this is a good sandwich. The bread is fresh and the fillings are tasty and reasonably abundant. You won’t have any extra, but the sandwich won’t bread out either. I must say that the service was a little suspect. I realize that I didn’t come in at a prime eating hour, but there was literally NOBODY in sight when I came in. There was also NOBODY around when I left. In between, a young lady took my order and a man brought my sandwich to my table, and I had no human interaction otherwise. Altogether a disappointing experience eating a good sandwich.

Nice little sandwich shop in the desert. I got a pastrami sub great flavor. The location is ok, if you miss the driveway pull around back for an easier entrance. Staff(owner?) was super friendly, nice to see some places still regard customer service as a priority.

I’ve had Phillies all over the country, including in Philly itself. This is the best Philly I’ve ever had, period. The fried mushrooms are perfect. Their new BBQ Philly is the best thing ever.

3.5 Parking entrance is rather awkward. Awkwardness comes from location not at the corner, but rather, right before the corner so no access from adjoining street, Cottonwood.(If you turn right onto Cottonwood, then there’s a different business and it’s fenced off). You can only get here from Bear Valley Blvd, coming from the direction of freeway exit. With that being said, it’s a good family-owned philly cheese steak place. The buns are especially good, soft and pillowy and slightly chewy, none of that typical dry sub bread. They don’t put enough cheese in the cheese steaks, though, which is kind of normal for the HD area, so I automatically ask for extra cheese. One of the more nicely decorated philly cheese steak places in HD.

Cute little shop. My husband and I both got a Philly Steak. Bread and meat were excellent. A little too much onion for both our liking. The onion overpowered the actual flavor of the meat.

I’m new to the desert and I had only tried the Philly steak on Main st. If you’re asking if this is the same thing, it’s NOT. It is an oriental, New Jersey style kind of place. The subs are loaded with much more flavor, and they use American white cheese instead of provalone which gives it a much stronger cheesy flavor. The bread is toasted to perfection, no cold bites ever again. The customer service isn’t spectacular but they definitely make you feel comfortable. Switching to the décor, they have plasma TVs for the menu on the counter, but the rest is kind of cheesy, the tables are decorated with cut glass. The location is also a little off put. Although I nerve judge a place by its décor, so I would recommend to anyone. Especially people who think philly steak on main is the best, you’d be surprised. Not really meant for families since the tables are for 4 at most. Overall good food but much space for improvement.

EXCELLENT! Large servings, great food, nice efficient people here, and very fair pricing. We had Cheesesteak Subs, sweet potato fries, and french fries. WOW, soft rolls stuffed full of yummy meat and more. Plenty to choose from on Menu. Sorry we don’t live nearby. We want MORE!
