The Whiskey Barrel

So that was a really good filet. Not even available normally on a Monday. Cooked just as I asked for. Garlic mashed went along very well. I have absolutely no complaints. Mind you it’s very early and not a lot of people here. But I’d recommend them on what I’ve seen.
Oh man it was good last night. Just as good tonight. All you can eat tacos for $ 6.99
I’ll be coming back here next time I’m in town.

Came in and got the whiskey ginger chicken. The portions left me with left overs and my belly was ever so happy.
Also the whiskey barrel has its own happy hour menu now so definitely was a plus!
Love the environment and cant wait to spend other night out here!

There was nowhere open to eat so I went to check this place out The food was all right the service was terrible very rude workers behind the bar I wouldn’t go back here in less there was nothing else open to eat again and it was pretty expensive

First time at whiskey barrel, it was OK. Service was ok when we got some. Appetizer came the same time as our food, which was quite a wait.

Went in a couple days ago. Place smelled like sewage and we were told the septic was backed up. Entire pitcher of beer was flat. Didn’t card any of us. Pretty bad experience.

I thought the place was all right!
When my man ordered a pitcher of beer they had to change the keg and it took a little over a half an hour to get his drink on!

I can’t help but refer everyone I know to this place. We’ve had fun every time we’ve gone. The bartenders are super funny and attentive. The waitresses need a little guidance on socialization, however. The couple of times we’ve sat at a table they weren’t very friendly, just rushed around. So, we sit at the bar now and get everything we need. We love watching sports here. The music and class of patrons makes this the perfect setting.

Went to this whiskey barrel for the first time and I’d have to say I liked the place. I’m not one for country music but I like the décor, the seating and the food. Wish I could have had a drink but I was on my lunch break. Everyone I encountered there was friendly and the place was Very clean. I’d definitely go again and try out their bar.

This place used to be one of my favorite places in high desert but they’d changed a lot. The food quality is not like what it used to be and the service sucks ! they don’t even honor their own ADS from the sign they have outside (it says 39c wings all day and they just charged me full price at 9:50pm).

Let me start off by saying I am not a fan of country music. I am however, a fan of watching people line dance. They always look miserable and that makes me laugh. So they get a star for that alone.
I go on Thursdays when the burgers are ½ off. Two burgers and two of the tall beers comes to about 30 $. Totally worth it because the burgers are ginormous and pretty good too.

Amazing beef and whiskey selection! Burger and beer pairs up are delicious. This place is great to hang out and enjoy friendly company. Each day there is a different theme and wing night is delicious.

Happy hour? Where is it. Today’s happy hour and only 4 burgers are on the hh menu WTH… but anyway burgers were good

I left after about 30 minutes. The dance floor is small and not meant for dancing. The line dancing was not organized. This bar is mainly for food and not for dancing.

I love the rib-​eye steaks at this place! They serve a generous portion. My husband and I always split the meal. It’s also a fun place to go for country line dancing, or to watch a football game. Waitresses are friendly and fun.

This place absolutely rocks! Great food, amazingly fast and friendly bar tenders and servers. Fun atmosphere, with great entertainment– often with no cover charge.
Would recommend to anyone not looking for a quiet night out.

This was my 3^rd time at this establishment while in town on business. First of all let’s say the positive things.
1. The place was pretty clean
2. The staff was good with customer service besides I feel one staff member could have been a bit better.
3. Prices weren’t bad
4. Large selection of Whiskey! Plus for me.
5. Beer selection on draft wasn’t bad, variety for everyone I think
7. Have happy hour food and drink prices
8. Plenty of TV’s for sports fans
9. Country music atmosphere
10. For the guys… Quite the pretty Phillies working hard for you.
11. 1 block away from the 15 freeway in the East side
12. A short walk away from about 3 different Motels.
Slight negative part but still minimal.
1. Bartender was busy talking rather than assist me as I walked up to the bar right from the front door. I was 5′ from her for over 5 minutes as I overheard her conversation as I waited, which was not work related. I don’t quite think she was unaware I was standing there waiting.
2. I ordered steak for my 3^rd time and all 3 times I ordered it Medium, all 3 times it can well done. The food was good flavor and portions were good but the Porter steak would be much better tasting if it was cooked to medium.
Besides those couple things I would recommend them to others for a good time if you like the country atmosphere and music. I would recommend if you order a steak ask for it much more rare than you normally would ask for.

I come here all the time and as much as I love this place, the food quality is a little inconsistent. On Mondays they have a new special that is Rib eye 10oz for 10.99. I’m not even sure if the steak I ordered was a rib eye, it tasted more like a sirloin. Probably one of the worst steaks I’ve ever had. If I had never ate here or steak at all and ordered this steak I would never eat steak again or here. If you cone here I suggest paying a little more for the rib eye steak on the menu, way better quality and taste.

I haven’t been here since it was DJ’s, back in the day! I came here late on a Saturday night. The new Whiskey Barrel looks pretty similar to DJs and has pretty much the same layout, but is definitely cleaned up and feels more like a chain, with a country vibe. Gone is the big, open dance floor and the stage is in the same place; there are more tables and it has more of a restaurant feel. It isn’t the best place for mingling, as people mostly stick with their own groups and tables, but we still made friends.
I didn’t pay for any of the drinks but the pours were generous and bar staff was friendly. There’s a large smoking patio, and only one pool table sandwiched between some tables… I was surprised there weren’t more! The people were playing pool were having a difficult time not hitting other diners with each shot. A good band was playing some country and classic rock, and the tunes were mixed up later, so there should be something for everyone.
I debated between 3 and 4 stars, and this place does have potential. What I didn’t like was that the restroom was NASTY. I used it at different points throughout the night and all of the toilets were overflowing.
Overall, I had a good time here and would come back. Try not to break the seal if you can help it!
